This large home is in the desirable North end of Colorado Springs. This home has a large modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counters and a second kitchen in the basement. The formal dining room table seats 8 and the kitchen breakfast table seats 4. The large back patio is accessible from the kitchen dining area. The main living room has a gas fireplace, flat screen TV, internet access and WIFI. The basement living room also has a flat screen TV and DVD player. There are 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
This home has a partially shaded back yard and patio to enjoy a BBQ or just relax and enjoy.

This is a non smoking rental.
Sorry we cannot accommodate pets.
Air force graduation 5 night minimum stay.
Thanksgiving 5 day minimum stay.
We only take reservations up to a year in advance.
All reservations require a signed rental agreement sent to you via docusign and valid Drivers license with your physical homes address (No PO Boxes).

super easy check in/out, very clean.

Very easy to check in and out. Manager was very quick in responding to report of potential problem with a jiggly wall. Some minor issue with a shower curtain rod on the last night(fell down during night and we were unable to get it to stay up) and the garage door would only open and had to be closed manually.

Thank you for your nice review. We replaced the shower curtain rod. The end piece was missing. Probably fell off when it came down. The garage door appeared to be bent in the middle, causing it to hang up on the door frame. We have had it repaired so it is working correctly.

Great house/cabin, horrible and cheap spring mattresses

Liked the overall facilities and stay, except hated the cheap quality of mattresses. All mattresses (except master bedroom) were extremely cheap, bouncy and noisy. Most of us hardly got any sleep, making us hate our stay and vacation.

We appreciate all guest feedback and will promptly respond to any complaints if contacted by a guest. The mattresses in the home are only one year old and in excellent condition. We verified that they are not noisy as this guest claimed. I am not sure what they are referring to regarding the noise. This properties has firm pillow top mattresses, so perhaps they are not used to this. This is the first time we have ever heard anything negative about the new mattresses and the house definitely does not deserve such a poor review! The guest did not leave on time and made our cleaners wait almost an hour before they could clean for the next guest. The cleaning service said the house was a wreck and documented with pictures. There were dirty dishes all over the kitchen (We ask guests to place in dishwasher as our cleaners do not cover this as part of the normal cleanings). Despite this we still gave the guest a decent review, as we feel it is always best to discuss any issue directly between the guest and us, as unfair reviews cause damage to both parties.

Christmas get together

First walking in the house, we all were super impressed with how clean it was. The kitchen is well stocked to cook family meals, including our big Christmas dinner. A nice open floor plan between the family room, breakfast area and kitchen was great for being together and opening Christmas gifts. The formal dining area and living room were nice for intimate quiet conversations. All of the bedrooms were good sized and comfortable. The owner checked in to make sure everything was going well. The owner has truly worked hard to make this house feel like a home.

This rental was above and beyond what we were expecting. It fit our family needs perfectly. Only two improvements needed: We wish the air conditioning would have been turned on prior to our arrival, and the two master bath light fixtures above the two sinks need to produce more light (the light fixture in the other bathroom was very bright). Pictures and description are accurate and this is an extremely nice house and location was excellent. Robert was a great host and communication was good. The only concern I had was under the host fee...I was charged $180 for additional guests. The listing said sleeps 14. I had 4 adults and 6 children. When I asked about the charge, I was told even if it states that is how many it sleeps, they still charge for "extra guests". Not too happy about that.

Thank you for the nice review. Maximum occupancy is set by the city of Colorado Springs. Rates are shown when making the reservation and are based on number of guests in order to allow smaller groups to rent a property without paying the rate a large group would pay. This is similar to how hotels charge, when you exceed a certain number of guests, there is an extra charge since there is typically more costs incurred with large groups.

This home was perfect for us. There were nine in our party and we all had plenty of space. Situated in a nice neighborhood and convenient driving to tourist attractions. The house was spotless and exactly as portrayed in the pictures. The host, Robert, was very amenable and friendly and responded immediately to any questions in addition to checking with us to make sure everything was well. Should we revisit the area we all agreed that we would rent this home again.

Ideal Home in Pleasant neighborhood

We can not say enough nice things about this rental! We were a family of 10 staying here for the Air force Academy's graduation week. The home is located in a pleasant neighborhood with a great park at the bottom of the hill. The house itself was very clean, organized and plenty roomy for all of us. Everything we could have needed was provided even coffee products. We would definitely recommend this house without reservation. (Our grandchildren would say it is the best house for playing hide and seek!)

June 2020 Colorado Springs Vacation

We enjoyed staying at this property. There were only 7 of us but it definitely would accomodate 14 people. The location is perfect for all of the Colorado Springs attractions. The dining room table is large enough to accommodate 8 people so I would suggest having a couple of folding chairs. We pulled up the desk chair so all 7 of us were able to eat together. We would definitely reccomend this home to family and friends. The home is very inviting. Staying here made our family feel very comfortable traveling during the 2020 Covid 19 Pandemic.

Colorado Springs House

The house is very spacious, well equipped. Loved the deep tub in the master bathroom! The owner provides certain little things that are just nice, such as toiletries, cards and jigsaw puzzles. We did both jigsaw puzzles! The desk area off the formal living room/dining room is a nice touch. I liked having a 2 car garage for the vehicles, which fit a Suburban and SUV Subaru. Quiet neighborhood. But, Montarbor is a bit of a busy street. The washer/dryer in the house are terrific! I appreciate the owner supplying laundry detergent, etc.

House for our band

We are members of the Chicago Fire Dept Bagpipe band and we came in for the International Fallen Firefighters Memorial. This house was perfect for us. Everything was easy from beginning to end. The owner kept in contact with us and the house was beautiful and in top condition. Everything that was stated was true. We were very happy with the whole experience.

Very Clean w/Small Master Bed

It was a very clean property which was a major plus and located centrally. The décor was very outdated and my chief complaint is the very small master bed. I don't even think it was queen sized despite there being ample space for a king bed. My husband slept on the couch for that reason most nights and the night he slept with me, the bed was so tiny that neither of us could lay flat next to each other. I have a small frame and his is medium. The master bedroom has poor air circulation so it remained fairly warm and therefore, hard to sleep. The master bath was very large with dual sinks though you could not shut the room because it's open to the master. Therefore, dressing while your spouse sleeps is impossible. The floor plan is only partially open so the space seemed limited despite the square footage. Other than that, the unit was fairly well supplied, organized and in a good neighborhood. At least one or two of the other bedrooms could use twin beds for more flexibility. We would not rent this unit again until or unless there was a bed upgrade.

During every guest stay, we ask our guests to let us know if there are any issues. This guest never communicated with us during their stay. Every bed in this home is a queen bed. Queen mattresses are all the same size. All of the bed sizes and extensive pictures of the home are on the reservation site, so every guest knows exactly what they are renting, so I am very surprised about these comments. Most of the furnishings and decor are less than 2 years old, as we have to replace furnishings often in this business due to wear and tear, so it is absolutely not true to say it is dated. Take a look at the pictures and you will know exactly what we are offering, as we regularly update these as we update the rentals. For additional bedrooms and beds, we offer the Cottonwood, which this guest did opted not rent, which gives two more bedrooms with queen beds and a second queen sofa sleeper. The main floor kitchen breakfast dining area and living room are one open room that can also be viewed from upstairs (See pictures). A second living room and dining room are on the front side of the kitchen. Bedrooms are on the second floor. Not sure how the guest considered this partially open.
