Amazing cabin on Lake Lure.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the cabin with our two sons. The deck on top was the highlight. We didn’t catch any fish, but got a lot of practice casting! The ducks were faithful, coming around several times a day for bread. The porch below was nice too, especially during the rain storms. The kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked quite a bit. The canoe was great with a great spot to pull it into the boathouse. During the time we were there we saw one of the gates opening on the dam several times due to area flooding. It was intesting to see and even fascinating for our boys. The stairs down to the house are well done and we maneuvered them fine. Overall it was a nice experience for our family!

Great Lake location!!

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful trip canoeing and floating in lake! Cute small boathouse cottage. Inside was clean and had everything we needed. Outside has a lot of outdoor space to take in the view and enjoy the lake.

Wonderful cottage on the lake

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place on the lake. We had a great time in this cozy impeccably clean cottage. It looks like it has been newly remodeled. Everything was perfect from the modern kitchen to the tiled shower. We had our coffee over looking the peaceful lake every morning. Emily is a great host and was quick to respond to our questions. We definitely plan on staying here again in the future.

Very Nice and Quiet/Loved the place.

  • 5 of 5

Everything went fine on our short trip. The place is very cozy and small but comfortable. Need additional Life Jackets for the Canoe. Love the access to the lake and the ability to fish right off the deck (no fish on our trip though). Nights are beautiful and quiet, the perfect retreat.

Great place for 2 people.

There are a lot of stairs to walk in order

To get to the cottage. Just fair warning for any one with a handicap or elderly people. Great spot though. No negatives.
