Home Away From Home
Loved our stay here. We use VRBO/AIRBNB frequently because our son attends the USAFA. The owners did a great job of supplying everything we needed for us to feel at home.
Great location close to everything!
The house was very nicely updated and well equipped. The location was close to the Garden of the Gods and local parks. We had a baby and they had toys, movies and a pack n play that came in handy! Ann was great to work with and responded quickly to our needs!!
Home away from home
Our family enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed here, fairly close to all of the activities we had planned as well. Ann was very easy to get along with and made the stay very easy and relaxing. There were 11 of us that stayed here, ages ranging from 10 months to 60 years and there was something for everyone to enjoy. We only had a couple of issues, which were not huge deals and made it work but the front door seemed hard to latch from the outside so we had to use another entry when we wanted to all leave at the same time. Also, we had plenty of dish towels but no wash cloths for the dishes so would recommend bringing your own to wash your dishes and wipe down the tables. Otherwise, there were plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, utensils, etc...the welcome gifts and book of information was also appreciated. Overall, we would be happy to stay here again on our next trip to the Springs!
Nice vacation home.
Cozy home with plenty of room for a family vacation. It was convenient to all attractions in the area.
Beautiful Property -Centrally Located
We stayed over the fourth of July week from Saturday to Saturday. This house was well stocked and perfect for a large group. The foosball was very popular with both the teens and adults. The location was perfect because it was close to town for our frequent trips to Starbucks and Trader Joe's. The deck was our favorite hang out spot with a nice big gas grill, and plenty of comfy seating. Right next to the deck was the kitchen and a big table area, well stocked with games, which was also nice. The three levels in the house was perfect for sleeping. The basement stayed the coolest so people who prefer that could sleep in the huge, comfy bedroom down there. There is also a bunk in the main room of the basement with a single on top and a double on the bottom. This house is nicely arranged for large groups. We had ten people with us and if you did plan to bring eleven people keep in mind one of the beds for two people is the bottom bunk so you might want to bring an air mattress if that is not what you had in mind. We enjoyed our stay and would give this house the highest possible rating.
Clean, well stocked, nicely furnished, very responsive owners
Location, location, location! Just 15 minutes from Garden of the Gods Park (6.5 miles), minutes from many amenities including grocery, restaurants, and coffee shops. Across the street from UCCS (University of Colorado at Colorado Springs), minutes from Palmer Park with ample hiking and mountain biking trails, around the corner (views from the house) from Pulpit Rock which is also a hiking spot. Just 4 miles from downtown Colorado Springs and 10 miles from the Pikes Peak Cog Railway all the tourist attractions are at your fingertips.
