This gorgeous location has so much to offer... It is time to decompress and relax with the stunning views of the lake and of the Apostle Islands , while enjoying the convenience of being in downtown La Pointe.

Sunset Perch is a welcome retreat from busy living. It is just a short walk from the Madeline Island Ferry. There is plenty to enjoy outdoors - the Madeline Island beaches, hiking, golf, playground, parks, and tennis are all nearby.

We invite you to sip coffee on the deck in the morning, or catch the gorgeous sunset with a cool beverage, after a long day of fun! Take a bike or moped ride out to Big Bay State Park for a hike, kayaking or enjoy a dip in the lake.

Warm and inviting, this well-appointed condo is perfect for family vacations, for long weekends and special occasion getaways.

Featuring a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, two full bedrooms and one full bath. Plenty of windows make the condo bright and airy. Sliding glass doors lead out to a large deck overlooking the lake, where you can sunbathe, dive into a good book, and enjoy a cocktail.

The downtown location is convenient to all the shopping , pubs, and especially for enjoying the many great dining options, all steps away.

Parking is available if you decide to bring your car, but a car is not necessary.

    We had the best stay possible. The location was amazing as it was close to the ferry and town attractions, had parking available and had a superb balcony where we could enjoy the lakefront. We felt right at home throughout our stay.

    Nice stay!

    We came for the Apple Festival and really enjoyed staying on the island to get away from the crowds. The rental had an excellent view of Lake Superior and was equipped with just about everything a person would need.

    Overall great stay!

    It was a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and the balcony was big for a beautiful view. The only problem I encountered was the dog at the bottom of the step. I had to go around. He was a mix with pit bull. I am sure you can't help that. Dogs now days have more privileges than humans.

    Amazing Stay!

    We were not anticipating staying on Madeline Island, but we are so glad we did! This location was perfect, right downtown easy to walk to all the shops and beautiful views for coffee in the morning or wine at night. Super clean, check in and check out were super easy and it was great having easy parking!

    Our family of 4 came from Minneapolis for a few days and Colleen‘a place was just perfect! The view was just amazing and the location couldn’t be better! The Condo was exactly as described. It was just fantastic. Can’t wait to stay here again!

    Winter visit. Location is excellent- walking distance to town grocery, bar/ restaurant/ coffee shops and Joni's beach. About 1/2 mile hike to golf course or Casper Trail to snowshoe. About 3/4 mile to ice road vans. Plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen dishes, coffee pot, electric water kettle, dishwasher tabs, dish soap etc.Good communication from Connie. We had an issue connecting to the Dish TV. Connie helped resolve. Although the Dish TV signal was spotty all week. Picture would freeze or signal would get lost. We reported the bathroom sink dripped constantly & that there was a high pitch noise whenever shower was used. Coleen said they were in process of fixing. Perhaps the shower noise contributed to the hot water not lasting long. There was also a strong smell and taste from all water sources. You had to run the water several minutes until smell & taste disappeared. Microwave had a broken handle so must open delicately.Furniture in living room is worn & faded. The arms in chairs were dirty from use. Ottoman/ foot stool had a piece of fabric stapled over it. Furniture could use an upholstery deep cleaning or replacement. Balcony was excellent for views and space. Have stayed at other units in this building & this unit is quite worn in comparison. Functional, great location but could use some maintenance/refresh.

    What a beautiful view!!! We loved the spacious balcony. We also loved the location! Easy to get to everything...so relaxing...we loved it. Would definitely rent again.

    Perfect location to explore the island

    Very comfortable place to stay. Loved the location right in the heart of the action. Easy access to the ferry, morning coffee and treats right downstairs as well as bike rentals and restaurants all right by. Beds were pretty comfy and space great for relaxing. Would stay here again if visiting Madeline Island.

    We truly loved our stay at this cozy condo. Everything about it was perfect. Clean, conveniently located, spacious, comfortable with beautiful views. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the furnishings to make it a really nice getaway spot.

    If you like being close to the restaurants, the bars, the art galleries, and the water this condo is for you! The condo was clean and it had everything we needed for our extra long weekend away. The hosts were excellent and answered all of our questions. Definitely five stars.

    Finding serenity

    The condo was as I expected, convenient location. 2 blocks from the ferry dock. I had to go to Bayfield to meet my daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter . We had a great time on Madeline Island and would go there again. 20 stairs was a bit rough but was good exercise.

    Great location right in the middle of La Pointe

    We had a great stay in this 2 bed condo right on the main street in LaPointe….close to ferry, food, and a view of the harbor. There was an energy that comes from that. Communication with the hosts was excellent - they showed a real concern that we experience a good stay. Very appreciated. It is not a new place - had some quirks but overall met our needs and beyond. Bonus: The restaurant below our condo serves a delicious dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.
