'Portobello I complex is a second row complex located on South Ocean Blvd. at 3rd Avenue South in Surfside Beach. This complex offers a Shared Swimming Pool w/outside shower and landscaped grounds. Easy access over to the ocean. Home 312 accommodates 12 people and the interior features include 5 smart TVs, 1 DVD player and stereo. Outside you will find a large shared pool, covered porches. Beach access is right across the street.

The Blue Crab is in a great location with easy walking distance to the Surfside Pier and surrounding restaurants. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home! Great location! Owner was very responsive. The only negative I would say is the home is listed as ocean view and pictures show a view of the ocean. There is now a huge home in the way of the view.

Blue Crab Getaway

This is a prime location where you just walk across the street to the beach! We loved sitting on the front balcony in the evenings. The rooms on the back are bright at night from the lights around the pool. Bring eye masks if you prefer to sleep in the dark. We had a great family vacation with plenty of room for everyone!

Overall loved it!!! Great property! I will say tho, the one picture of location shows you can see the ocean/ beach from the front porch unfortunately a GIANT house has been built there since the pictures. Loved the house! But 1st floor bedroom was really warm compared to the rest of the house, so would recommend having a fan in that room!

We truly enjoyed our stay location was perfect for our family. Just a few things, some plug ins didn’t work and the showers had a screaming noise when you turned them on.

We had a truly relaxing week at this wonderful property. The location is unbeatable—just steps from easy beach access and a short walk to the pier and nearby restaurants. The home itself is comfortable, well-equipped, and ideal for unwinding. But what truly made our stay special was the host. They were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Great family vacation

Great house and, a great location across from the beach with a nice pool. The house has a supply of beach chairs, kid's beach toys, ice maker, coffee maker, dishwasher, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, cable TV, etc. The family enjoyed our stay and we would book again.

This is our home away from home, which is Massachusetts. We have owned the Blue Crab since 2016, and have been hosting rentals for 10 years. Many personal touches await you as we have personalized the interior with varying paint schemes, photos and furniture.

Why they chose this property

Known as the "Family beach" in South Carolina, this residence is walking distance from the beach, with restaurants, stores and the new Surfside Pier nearby. All the amenities of home await your arrival in a contemporary setting. Many updates include new smart t.v.'s in each room, new slider for the 1st floor deck, granite counter tops and updated wifi router with booster on the second floor.

What makes this property unique

Location, location and location is the short answer to what makes this home unique! Golf cart and bike rentals are a short walk away, along with a market and discount shopping. Benjamins bakery is around the corner for all your breads, bagels and cookies. Like karaoke? Neal and Pam's is the place, only a short walk on S. Ocean Blvd. Freshwater shared pool in back, walking distance to beach, fully equipped kitchen, two outside decks and parking for up to three vehicles. Murrells inlet is a short drive or UBER ride away, and the airport is an
easily accessible 10-15 min. ride.

Property does have security cameras in three common areas. 1. Under house facing street. 2. In Front stairway facing street. 3. Back porch facing rear door. These are for yours and our protection. No interior spaces are monitored.
