Great location!

This was a great location and we were able to walk everywhere we went! We loved that we were able to bring our dog with us, but not sure we would again as it restricts us from staying all day at the beach! Communication with Tom & Peggy was great!

Short walk into town

Loved the location… easy walk into town and to the beach. We had a wonderful time. The hosts Tom and Peggy was super helpful. All 5 of the group said we would definitely stay here again.

Great location

This house is in a great location, close to downtown shopping, river walk, beaches. Nice wrap around porch to sit out in the evening. Would rent it again.

Weekend Getaway

Stayed 2 nights with 3 other couples - had a great time! When we weren't walking to downtown or the beach, we had plenty of room to relax in the home. The kitchen is a little tight to do any serious cooking, but it was perfect for light breakfasts and snacks. Would definitely consider staying again.

The location is fabulous! It was great to be able to walk to absolutely everything. The house is super clean and all bedroom's are spacious. The only downside is that the bathrooms are tiny, as is typical in an older home. A small cabinet with a ledge to keep things in and on would be helpful. But the location more than makes up for it. We would book this home again.

Perfect girls weekend

We had a wonderful girls weekend in this lovely home. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from great shops, restaurants and the beach. The home was spotless and the bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Great communication with the owner as well. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we are hoping to plan a return visit soon!

Second Visit

This was our second stay at this property. Exactly a year since our first stay. Everything was the same. Cannot beat the location, if your looking to hangout downtown a lot. The pet friendly nature of the property is what brought us back.

Close to DT South Haven

Great location. Perfect for a sisters weekend. Our weekend was too cold for the beach but we loved walking to restaurants, shops, and wine tasting. House was a little older but comfy furniture and a large kitchen table great for playing cards

South Haven Trip

Great location, just a block from downtown, and an easy walk to the beach. Neat old house, a good deal of space, kitchen had plenty of dishes, cutlery, and cookware; and had a ping pong table in the garage. We had a couple of issues with the house crop up during the week, and the host addressed them promptly and professionally. Would recommend to anyone going to South Haven.

Close enough to walk to downtown and the beach!

Peggy was great at communicating with us and check in was a breeze. The property was just like the pictures and description online. We spent a lot of time on that great porch and so did our pups. We could walk to a variety of restaurants and the beach. We played Ping Pong and grilled out for Father’s Day. South Havens Farmers Market is Wednesday and Saturday. We went to both. We bought fresh veggies, fruit, sourdough bread and grass fed beef. The best part was we walked everywhere! No worrying about parking. We will definitely stay again.

All about location

We are regulars in SoHa, and this is the absolute most convenient property for maximum South Beach and downtown enjoyment. Extra points for being dog friendly! Overall the house is clean, and could also use some general sprucing. Nothing that is a deal breaker, we are returning next year, but it does feel like everyone needs a little TLC. We were very comfortable, plenty of space for the 5 of us and the puppy. Looking forward to next year

Safety

Concern of loose boards on porch. We tripped on a loose board. No hand rail for ourdoor porch steps. Overall we loved the location, and vintage decor. Could use a little updating.

Great location!

Our family had a wonderful time staying here for our annual South Haven vacation. The house is steps from downtown and a few blocks from the beach.

This was the perfect vacation location--on the edge of town, very close to the beach and walking distance to everything. Never used a car the whole week!

A Great Property in a Great Location

My friends and I rented out this property to enjoy South Haven after a long winter spent apart due to the pandemic. The property was clean and spacious, the proprietor professional, and the location perfect. All in all, we had a wonderful time and hope to return in the future!

Great Location

This property was spacious. There were some aesthetic issues (e.g. closet door handles were broken) but the important items were functional. The location was the greatest feature -- only ~1 block from the main street (Phoenix). Overall a nice stay.

Great location

We stayed here for a week while visiting with family in town. The location is just a block from the main drag and walkable to the beach. The house had plenty of room for my husband, daughter, myself and our dog.

We had a bit of problems with the air conditioner, but the owners resolved it quickly. It was a perfect getaway for our family (adult children and their spouses and children)

Very Roomy!

Owners were super responsive and friendly, and the house was very spacious. Master on main floor was a nice touch as well. Location is ok...backs up to an apartment building so didn’t love that, but overall, a really good place to stay!

Our girls weekend in South Haven was really enjoyable. Having a place within walking distance from town and all the restaurants was so wonderful. It was nice not to have to drive everywhere. The house itself offered so many rooms and multiple areas to gather as a group. The best was when we had questions the management/ owner was easy to reach and super helpful.

This spacious yet cozy cottage is only a 5-minute walk to the big waves at South Beach. Don't forget your camera--you'll want to capture the sunset from the South Haven Lighthouse pier. Afterwards, take a stroll up the beachwalk along the Black River and watch the boaters pass by. Enjoy dinner at one of South Haven's many restaurants, or relax with a cookout on the cottage's deck.
