Date of Stay

My wife and I have lived at Harbor Square just over six months and now and have an extended runway for another year. We relocated to Camden / Rockport for professional opportunities and I can say without any hesitance that being a resident of this amazing property has made all the difference with our relocation to the Great State of Maine.

Local residents will tell you just wait for summer and fall in this amazing ecosystem of community that is disappearing from the American culture. We arrived in November leading up to a winter with multiple Nor'easters and 90 plus inches of snow. Through it all our children, elderly parents, brother-in-law, nephew and friends all found their way and we had amazing visits.

Ski season in town is excellent and from the property we make one turn up at the Camden Bowl into the parking lot. Ease of walkability around the town is amazing and ultimately everything is at your fingertips including a Rite Aid for those quick runs which won’t cut into your day for needed supplies.

Property management is Best In Class run by Suzanne Lufkin Weiss. After our Maiden voyage from Indy to Camden in 18 hours of rain we arrived to our condo and every necessity was completely satisfied. The property is kept as neat as a pin and it is very private.

Whether you are looking to simply relax on your deck and view some of the most awe-inspiring scenery in the world or get out for outdoor activities the property is ideal. Bayview Street is loaded with shops and restaurants to duck into which are all right outside your door.

With the summer rapidly approaching things are starting to get busy as Camden prepare for the season. Clearly we have enjoyed the thaw however, I seriously recommend also considering a visit to Harbor Square during the late fall and winter as the beauty is ideal. Regardless I can adamantly say this property will not disappoint and the only feeling of regret will be when you pack your bags to return home.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much. It's great to know that while Summer in Maine is perfect, the rest of the year is also spectacular and that Harbor Square has met, and continues to meet, your needs. Skiers will particularly appreciate your mention of the Camden Snow Bowl and its ski trails...truly Camden is "where the mountains meet the sea". For those wishing to experience Harbor Square on a longer term basis in the "off season", we offer a monthly rate plus utilities. Thank you, Jim K. for your very kind words.
