Ashanti is a secure gated apartment/condo in the quiet residential area of Gibbs. Situated in between Holetown and Speightstown. It is a 5-8 min walk to the stunning Gibbs beach and the lively Mullins is a further 5 min around the bay. Number 1 is a 3 bed apartment (two king, 1 twin) all with en suite bathrooms, a bright open plan living/dining area with smart TV for you to log into your own apps/streaming services and a fully fitted kitchen. The apartment is fully air conditioned. There is a laundry room with facilities, balcony with sea views. A shared pool with loungers and outdoor eating area.

We just spent three amazing weeks at Ashanti 1. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Quiet neighbours, incredible sunset views from the balcony, onsite pool, which we mostly had to ourselves, and a short walk to the bus stops and beautiful Gibbs beach. Marcia the property manager is an absolute gem. Highly recommend booking Ashanti 1. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing stay in gorgeous Barbados.

What a fantastic stay we had! Ashanti 1 is a wonderful, spacious apartment, it was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. All bedrooms are very spacious with en suite bathrooms, brilliant air conditioning, well equipped kitchen and brilliant little balcony. Lots of goggles, snorkels, boogy boards for the kids to use which was brilliant, the washer and drier also came in really handy. The apartment is in a fantastic location, close to Seashed and the gorgeous Gibbes beach. We had a car which was brilliant for getting around and seeing the island. Marcia the apartment manager was really helpful and answered any questions that we had. I honestly cannot recommend this place anymore we will definitely return here, Barbados has absolutely captured our heart.

Good Location , Walking Access to Beaches & Restaurants

We stayed for a month. Nice place, excellent AC in every room, very secure, on-site pool. Appliances all work but a little challenging to operate. To really explore the island recommend renting a vehicle. Biking (road) from the condo to the North was good

Fabulous week

This is our second visit to Andrea’s apartment and once again we loved staying there. Firstly the apartment has everything one needs and the pool is wonderful- I never saw anyone else there and spent hours reading in the sun. Location is amazing and each day we walked to possibly the most beautiful beach in the world in five minutes. Just the best x

We were extremely happy with the Villa. The location is a little out of the way. You really need a car to get around. Marcia the Manager was extremely pleasant and could not do enough for us. She was very helpful and booked all of our taxi pick-ups.

Perfect Barbados Getaway: ldeal Location and Excellent Value!

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO property in Barbados! The location was absolutely perfect, just a stone's throw away from the magnificent beaches of the West Coast. We loved having plenty of restaurants and charming fish shacks nearby, offering a variety of delicious dining options.The property's location made it incredibly easy to explore all parts of the island, especially the beautiful West Coast. The area was wonderfully quiet, and it was a breeze to drive or walk down to the main road. A special shoutout to Marcia, the property manager, who was incredibly informative and communicative both before and during our stay. Her helpfulness made our experience even better.Overall, this property offered fantastic value, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!I hope this

Friends Holiday

The apartment was great, spacious and equipped with everything we needed even snorkels which were fab. Marcia provided some requested shopping and we really appreciated that, thank you. he patio door for the laundry line though was a little stiff to open and sometimes felt like the glass would fall out, but it didnt. The pool was cleaned daily and had a shower too, the only thing was there was no toilet outside near the pool which if leaving later in the day there was no access to any facilities.

Lovely Ashanti 1

The villa was lovely - 3 beds 3 baths. Very close to the beach. We had breakfast on the balcony in the morning and wine and cheese in the evening. Beautiful sunsets. We had challenges with the wifi when re arrived-the password in the book was not correct and the cooker was a challenge to figure out but Marcia the property manager came to the rescue. Busses come by often so getting around was easy as we didn't have a car and we love to walk to get the feel of Barbados. A wonderful vacation!

Ideal Base on Barbados West Coast

Communication was impressive from the start. Property is set up a short distance from a lovely quiet beach. Would suggest a car to get around to the shops and restaurants etc. Gated Private parking and entrance. Met by representative Collis, very personable and who gave us an informative tour of the property and was on hand if we needed him. The apartment could comfortably cope with six people although there were only four of us on this visit. Everything you need is provided, local info, great kitchen and bathrooms, beach towels etc. Sea views from the balcony seating. This modern well equipped apartment is an ideal base to tour the Island. We hope to return again.

Property was nice . I was very disappointed as we only had cleaner attend to our property once in 14 days , this was on day 6 which is not really acceptable. There was no clean towels left for us so I had to wash them every couple of days , this is something you don’t want to be doing when on holiday. I really think this needs to be looked into , we was very disappointed.

I am sorry you were disappointed; we go out of our way to ensure that we exceed all of our guest’s expectations and will always act on feedback received. The apartment is fully cleaned, linens changed etc on a weekly basis and bath towels as well as towels for use by the pool and beach are provided for your use, there is an abundance of extra towels and linens in the property and if at any time during a stay a guest asks for more linens or additional cleaning then we can provide it. Our property manager checked in with you on numerous occasions during your stay and you did not mention your concerns to her at all. As I am sure you appreciate, we cannot address things if we do not know about them. When you told us we provided assistance to resolve the problems you had with your car rental company as well as purchasing a highchair in advance of your stay so that you did not need to rent one. We are saddened that you did not voice any issues at the time of your stay as we always endeavour to ensure that guests have a wonderful holiday.

Great value condo on the West coast close to some fabulous beaches.

We enjoyed our stay at Ashanti. It was excellent value for money, secure and quiet. You’re elevated so even on the ground floor you get a fair sea view from the balcony. We had a car but it’s walkable to some beautiful beaches, some with services, some super quiet. My five year old walked quite happily up to Mullins beach and once on the main road there is pavement all the way along. Making sundowners at the Sea Shed a particular favourite. The roads have suffered over the last year, so although it can be tricky driving in the wet it has slowed the pace of the reggae buses slightly so you feel safer as a pedestrian. Thunder bay (Simone’s) is fab, as well as the beach at Folkestone Marine Park. Both have parking, sun bed hire and great local food outlets. It’s a great start for further exploration too with Harrisons Cave, Huntes Gardens, Flower Caves etc all very accessible by car. Massys supermarket is just down the road in Holetown and there is a Jordans in Speightstown. All in all a very pleasant stay.

My family and friends had a lovely stay and can't wait to stay agin.
