About this property

Beautiful home in private setting yet only15 min to town & 10 min to lake

This upscale vacation rental is located on a private 3 acre lot 15min from Durango on a paved road. It is the ideal retreat to return to after a day of site seeing with family and friends.

This beautifully landscaped home has a large, fully fenced, pet friendly yard. The house will sleep 8 people. We offer free WiFi. There are 3 bedrooms each with their own bath plus a queen fold out sleeper sofa in the family room. The entire upper floor is a master suite with a private balcony over looking the yard.

Lake Nighthorse is 10 min away and will open Apr 1st with swimming, boating and fishing. Canoe and kayak available at the lake.

We really enjoyed this house. The fenced yard was amazing for our dogs and the home was spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the big patio and loved the semi-secluded location.

House was huge for just 2 couples( originally there was suppose to be 3 couples). There was alot of storage if you are staying lo ger than 4 days. Nice big kitchen if you want to cook. We could of used more towels there was only 2 per bedroom.

Pros- it is a large house with three separate rooms each with their own bathrooms. It is about 15-20 minute drive from downtown in a pretty setting. The kitchen is well equipped. Cons- not for anyone with mobility issues as there are numerous step ups/downs. This house needs a major cleaning - dust, mold, cobwebs.

Absolutely lovely, private, quiet and just the perfect place for the world to melt away! It had all the best amenities for a romantic getaway including a gourmet kitchen, wood fireplace and a secluded jacuzzi tub!

Really enjoyed our stay in Durango! The house was very spacious, with everything you could possibly need, and laid out to give plenty of separation. We spent lots of time on the porch just enjoying the breeze and the sounds of the wind through the trees. We saw deer in the yard, and the kitty cat that hung out was very sweet. Very good location for going to Durango and Mesa Verde. We would definitely return!
