Beautiful modern cabin surrounded by lush green ferns

We absolutely loved our time in Volcano National Park, and completely loved waking up in and coming home to this beautiful house and lush green yard. It was fun drinking morning coffee on the lanai while cuddled up in the papasan. The birds would come and feed, and the family of Kalij Pheasants ran around the yard and fluttered up on the railing. It was really nice having 3 bedrooms to spread out my older kids. This was just such a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay in. Our aim was to be close to the park (and I was especially grateful for this location when I saw on line that Kilauea was erupting with her next episode! It was my #1 hope to get to see! The road got busy fast so it was nice to be close!). Thanks so much, gorgeous home.

Very comfortable place with everything you need, just like at your own home. We really enjoyed the privacy and waking up to singing birds in the surrounding forest. We were lucky to experiece an eruption episode at the kilauea caldera and being only 5 mins away made visiting it day and night very easy.

Stayed here 3 times. First time with this manager. We love so much about it! Close to everything, private. ( not too quiet but the manager cannot control that). Great temperature, deep deep tub, huge tv, relaxing sofa, super mattresses. We could go on and on. We love this house!

The Lazy Lehua cottage was absolutely beautiful. It was very well stocked, extremely clean and a joy to spend a couple of days in. The cottage was nestled in the rainforest, surrounded by lush vegetation, which was home to a chorus of birds to sing you to sleep each night. It was probably the nicest place I have stayed in my travels over the years...a wonderful combination of rustic with beauty and comfort. We went for a walk a couple of times and found the neighbours very friendly. It was very well situated on the doorstep of Volcanoes National Park. Thank you Stacey!!
