This was a great place for our party of six. Plenty of space for all of us and the place had everything we needed. Beach was nearby. Beds were comfy. Check in was easy and the host was quick to answer my questions. Will book again when we come back.

The place was perfect for what we need for the family wedding weekend. It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Hilton Head. Palmetto Dunes is a very nice resort area.

We really liked the location of the condo, pool location, quiet neighborhood, and the convenient shuttle to the beach. Having four bathrooms was nice! The kitchen was well equipped, but there wasn’t enough room for groceries to be unpacked because the cupboards were loaded full of dishes, far more than any guests would need to use. (We ate all of our meals in the condo.) The refrigerator was small and missing a door rail. The LR couch had a strong animal odor, so we placed a sheet over it to minimize the smell. The bathrooms were small, but clean. The king size bed was comfortable with nice bedding. We would have preferred not to have a router beside our bed because of all of the harmful electromagnetic frequencies emitting while we slept. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Both upstairs bedrooms had darkening curtains. It would be nice to have darkening curtains in the master BR as it was bright early in the morning. Overall we really enjoyed stay!

Relaxing Stay

We had such a wonderful stay. Anne was very easy and proactive with communication. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of room for all of us. It was a very short and easy walk to the beach. Very little traffic on the road and then dedicated path to the beach.

Great stay

The location of this property made everything we wanted to access on the island no more than 15-20 away, which was great. Golfing, Beach, tennis, biking was all walking distance to boot

Family Vacation June 2022

Our family had a wonderful week at this well maintained, comfortable and conveniently located property. Anne, the owner, was extremely responsive and accommodating. A short walk to several beach accesses, the Dunes House and the General Store. We highly recommend and are looking forward to staying again in the future.

Nephews wedding

Just perfect! We drove from upstate New York for our nephews wedding & it was exactly as we expected. 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, full kitchen, dining area & good size living room. Very clean & organized. Beautiful landscaping & great view of the golf course. Super relaxing pool. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. We had a great time & thanks!

Clean, well stocked, good location. Could use some touch up paint, upstairs showers very slow draining and vent openings need cleaned.

Wonderful accommodations for a Family Getaway!

We fell in love with the property and it was perfect for our family of 10 (6 adults, 2 children & 2 infants). The beds were extremely comfortable and the layout made it easy for infants to sleep upstairs while the rest of the family enjoyed the 1st floor. We had a great time using the pool, bicycling and frequent visits to the ocean. I think every family member said ... "we want to come back again next year!" :-)

Easter vacation 2024

We rent a place every year to visit my Dad who spends winters in Palmetto Dunes. This place was spacious enough for all of us and a perfect location for us to bike back and forth to his place. Owner was great to deal with. We had no problems while we were there.

Our father was one of the original Developers of Palmetto Dunes. This is a one owner condo that my brother and I have many memories visiting during the development of Palmetto Dunes. We both spent our summers and breaks here and have been able to bring our children for stays all of their lives. We have an indescribable attachment to the property, as we have been coming here for over 50 years.

Water Oak Villa is located off the main traffic area, therefore a quiet but convenient to the Beach and all of the amenities in the community.

Community pool is located directly across the street from the unit. Hole number 1 is located directly behind the unit and is an absolutely beautiful scenery. You can enjoy the view of the course from inside or outside on the patio off the living area or from either of the balconies located off each upstairs bedrooms. Shelter Cove Harbor, dinning and shopping is located directly across the entrance to Palmetto Dunes. Convenient to many activities and entertainment.
