27ホールのゴルフコースに囲まれたビッグシダーハウスは、最高のロケーションに恵まれています！ スキー場とスペリオル湖の景色を眺めながら、本を読んだり、ワイナリーまで歩いてすぐです。 家は杉の木の古い成長リングに転がる基礎の上に座っています。 この杉の木の輪は、所有者の心を捉えました。 ロットがユニークなのは、葉が包まれているため、ゴルフクラブの時折の「音」や良いショットの歓声が聞こえるまで、ゴルフコースにいるとは思いません。 それ以外は、シマリスやリスが日々移動している静かな森です。

ビッグシダーハウスは2600平方フィートと3階建ての多目的な建物です。 各レベルには、居心地の良い毛布、快適な枕、清潔なバスルームを備えた寝台があります。 この新しく（2019/2020）建てられた家の各レベルには、松の木から覗く夕日の色のために杉の木に面した屋根付きのポーチがあります。 深く息を吸い、肩をリラックスさせ、地元のワイナリーからボトルを抜き取るのに最適な場所です。

1階の寝具：
-クイーンサイズのベッドとクローゼットにあるローリングツインベッドを広げるベッドルーム。

2階の寝具：
キングベッドを備えたマスターベッドルーム。

3階ロフト：
クイーンベッド、ツインベッド2台を備えた回転式ベッド、ローリングツインを展開。

1階には簡易キッチンがあるので、早起きの人はコーヒーを飲んだり、夜遅くの人は軽食を楽しめます。

Loved this property! We were in Lutsen for the Superior Fall Trail Races and the multiple levels of the home was perfect. We each had our own private level, but also had perfect space for gathering. Would definitely stay here again!

The layout of the house fit our family needs. We missed a larger living room space on the main floor. The firepit area was nicely outfitted with necessary items (chairs, buckets for water, fire extinguisher, roasting sticks) however it was in a low, damp area. We were very pleased with the responsiveness of our host!

Great house for a large family

There were three adults and four teenagers in our family group, and this house worked out perfect for us. There were three levels with sleeping quarters, two living room areas, two kitchen areas and three bathrooms - perfect! There's plenty of parking, and a really cool firepit spot in the woods.

Great location and beautiful place

This house is great! The basement was perfect for all the ski equipment on and off. The bedrooms were well explained and the space upstairs was perfect for the kids to hang out in while the adults had their space to play cards and hang out!! Will definitely be our new place to stay for a Lutsen ski trip!!

Fun accommodations. Good privacy for two bedrooms with great upstairs sleeping for young-ish people. Good kitchen for eating as a big group. Bring your own crockpot :)

Perfect location and size for our group

So close to the slopes! We had a great time in this fun house! Lots of space and everything g we needed. Couldn’t be happier. We will definitely book this place again.

Very comfortable stay

Very spacious property. Clean with pretty much everything you would need. No washer/dryer though so keep that in mind if you plan to stay here for a while. Three floors, nice bathroom on each level, kitchens on two levels- so the ground floor level is self contained if you need it to be. Winery in walking distance so we that. Close to hiking and a short drive to grand Marais. The house is right between holes 4 and 5 on the golf course. The bedroom on the second floor has a skylight above the bed so great viewing of the stars. There is a fire pit- we did not use. Lots of windows and light with outdoor balconies, I would consider coming back, especially to golf or ski.

Fall trip

We had the most amazing time here & the weather was perfect for fall. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and the bonfire pit. Walking distance to a winery, Lutsen gondola, walking trails, and Grand Marais. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Great Family Vaca

We had a great family vacation with 9 ranging from 12 to 70. Good location for various activities. Clean house with lots to do. Love the three levels with three bathrooms! A great fit!

Over all we enjoyed the property. We were disappointed that the fire pit was a ways from the house and there were so many weeds around the deck and along the path to the pit. We were worried about the bugs since it was so many tall weeds and brush. It should be cleaned out more. But the house was fine.

North Minnesota summer trip

We have been to Lutsen several times for skiing, and this is our first time in the summer. We absolutely loved it. The house is spacious, with plenty of space for 3 families to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen has all the utensils. We did hikes in Lutsen mountains, Cascade river state park, explored Toffee and Grand Marais, watched July 4th fireworks, enjoyed the view of Lake Superior and searched for agates along the shore. Would love to come back there again.

Great secluded home in the woods

Owners quick on replying. Home is in a great location and would accommodate 3 families as each level has its own sleeping and sitting areas and bathroom and only attic level doesn’t have kitchen area.

Great house and location

This property is exactly what our group of eight skiers/snowboarders needed; plenty of beds to sleep in, multiple spaces to hang out, and three bathrooms. The house had a variety of board games, including our favorite - Catchphrase (we forgot to bring ours so we were thankful to be forgiven for our mistake). 2nd floor dining table was large enough for our group to play cards/games. Dishwasher made cleanup easy. Beds/pillows were comfortable, even the trundle beds. Kitchen was stocked with utensils/supplies. We did not use the fire pit, as the area was covered with snow. However, the relative seclusion was nice, and the location about a mile below the ski hill was great. Everyone in our group was more than satisfied; even one person said upon first inspection "This place is better than the pictures!" We would recommend this property to other large groups.

Big Cedar House was built by Kelly and Ben Suchy. It was built with mid-west blue collar work ethic. These are not wealthy owners lol. Kelly is a 3rd grade teacher and Ben is a musician and entrepreneur. They had a good team of friends and family during the build and a lot of guidance from the Corliss family at the winery.

Ben would bring the kids to the Bismarck YMCA for "kid watch" and have 2 hours to help organize the build. He would also take about 20 trips up from Bismarck to jump on the crew or haul material while Kelly stayed back with the kids. Max Wahlers was the main builder and Ben and his friends stained siding (old MN line posts!) sealed concrete floors, sheetrocked and tiled bathrooms, and a laundry list of other jobs!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Ben and Kelly came up to Lutsen for the bike race and fell in love with the area. Ben had a gig singing at the local winery the day after the race and they found out a lot was available. They ended up planning a trip up in the following weeks and bought the lot.
