Located in the heart of Lutsen Mountains and the North Shore, the Northwoods Retreat boasts all of the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel. This is the perfect place to relax…and when you’re ready to venture out, the Lutsen Northwoods Retreat is conveniently located near most anything you choose to do while visiting. The location is priceless…Lutsen Mountains ski hills and hiking trails/falls are just up the hill. Snowmobile and biking trails are nearby, too! The North Shore Winery/Sawtooth Mountain Cider House is within walking distance. The Gitchi-Gami State Trail is just down the road….and to top it off, the cabin overlooks Superior National Golf Course with views of Lake Superior off to your left and views of Moose Mountain off to your right. It's the perfect home away from home to relax and enjoy true north.

This sweet cabin provides three bedrooms, two bathrooms with sleeping availability for up to 10 people. Built in 2017, everything is newer and ready for your enjoyment.

The kitchen provides a granite island with bar stools and is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The kitchen/dining/living area boast a floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace - just a great place to kick back and relax.

The bathrooms include a walk-in tiled shower on the upper level and a tub/shower combination on the main level.

The exterior of the cabin consists of two outdoor living areas - a partially covered wrap around porch accessible from the main living area with gas grill and outdoor dining table for your enjoyment AND a large covered balcony off of the upper level bedroom...perfect for star gazing. The stars are absolutely incredible here! In the quiet of the night, you can even hear the falls....serenity and peace!

Other amenities include heated floors, central air, granite counter tops, silhouette blinds on all of the windows, high speed internet, WIFI, satellite TV and location.....only a short distance up Ski Hill Road off of Highway 61.

The driveway offers plenty of room for parking providing a circular drive for easy in and out for trailers. Relaxing with good conversation around the fire pit adds to incredible evenings under the northwoods night sky.

What makes the bedrooms so inviting? I have so carefully chosen top of the line furniture, mattresses and bedding for your comfort with luxury bed linens from the Hilton Collection. Comforters and pillows are down alternative. All of the bedrooms provide a flat screen TV with satellite TV. The king bedroom offers a large balcony perfect for star gazing. All bedrooms have ceiling fans plus additional tabletop fans, if needed. A Pack N Play is, also, available for the little ones. The pull-out twin sleeper and EZ beds all have gel foam mattress toppers for your comfort.

The bedding is as follows:
Master bedroom (upper level): king bed
Guest bedroom (upper level): queen bed/twin sleeper
Guest bedroom (main level): queen bed
Also, provided are twin & queen EZ inflatable beds on a frame with gel foam mattress toppers
NOTE: The cabin can feel a bit crowded with 10 adults using the EZ beds. It's very comfy for 7 adults for sleeping - is doable for more.
