"Far Views" is Ocean Front Plus! Ideally situated on Penobscot bay with quintessential Maine views to Rockport harbor and magnificent Indian Head lighthouse & keepers cottage, local midcoast out-islands, Mt Desert & Blue Hill mountains and all the way to Downeast. It's views could possibly be the BEST in Mid-coast Maine!

The house sits as close as possible to the waters edge; a mossy path takes you down to our waterfront with Adirondack chairs, perfect for morning coffee or sundowners. The large spacious contemporary house boasts Ocean Views from EVERY SINGLE room and from the comfortable 750sf elevated wood deck. "Lobstah" boats, seals, cranes, hawks, osprey, and ducks are constant entertainment. The sunset glowing on Indian Head lighthouse is a spectacular sight!

"Far Views" private paved road is approached from the south side of Rockport Harbor right down to the water's edge. A convenient location for the gourmet markets, veggie stands and restaurants in Rockport, Camden & Rockland.

This home has had a total renovation, has new A/C and is continually being upgraded and meticulously maintained. Meticulous! The decor is comfortable, detailed and modern. This is not your usual upmarket rental; this house includes art, beautiful furnishings and amenities.
Special attention has been paid to provide comfort and luxury while respecting it's natural surroundings. Along with outdoor living with lounging furniture, 2 dining areas, grill and a fireplace on the expansive deck which allows for relaxing and gazing. Not to mention the screened in porch.

This home boasts expansive panorama views from the large living room and the comfortable dining room. These rooms lead to the deck area and to the well appointed kitchen with counter dining (with ocean views). Both bedrooms have ocean views and ensuite bathrooms. Also, there is a garden sunroom, and an oceanfront screened-in porch. Central A/C, central heating & super insulation. Ceiling fans in each room.

The den has a 60” widescreen tv . Smart in TVs in both bedrooms. Roku channels and Netflix is available .

2ND FLOOR:
The “Treehouse" suite has a king bed, sitting area and a private oceanfront balcony. Ocean views. An ensuite subway tile shower and toilet.

A Peaceful Playground

Our stay at this gorgeously appointed home was unforgettable, with breathtaking coastal views and luxurious comforts throughout the home. We spent our days watching playful sea otters frolic in the surf, while afternoons were filled with the excitement of spotting dolphin pods patrolling just offshore. This perfect blend of natural wonder and refined relaxation made for a truly magical Maine getaway.

Spectacular home and location

The architecture and interior design of this home are stunning. Incredible views of Penobscot Bay from every room, airy skylights, and wonderfully curated art create an environment that encourages one to settle in and relax. The host is very communicative and is clearly concerned with the comfort and satisfaction of guests. Worth every penny.

Absolutely Amazing!!!!!

We were so thrilled to be staying in this beautiful house with stunning views. Even a few rain clouds couldn't spoil our stay. 10/10 for the beautiful view, gardens, high end kitchen, peaceful and secluded neighborhood, and close proximity to many sites and restaurants. The owner and property manager were very helpful with their recommendations for dining and activities. The attention to details and design of this house is worth every penny.

Stunning setting, impeccable taste and well appointed coastal home.

We really found a gem in this lovely home. It is not appropriate for children or dogs as noted because of its setting and beautiful furnishings, artwork and books. It was a great location for those who wish to explore the beauty and variety of mid coast maine. There is a good attention to detail and one really should have the time to enjoy the deck and living areas. Well thought out floor plan, plant material and sophisticated appliances. The garage offered a perfect venue for our paintings and art supplies being used.

Lovely home in a stunning location

Located on a beautiful spot with views back to Rockport harbor, this house is positioned for optimal views of the water and islands in the distance as well as active marine life. The house itself is lovely - very well maintained, well equipped and perfect for a couple. From start to finish the owners were delightful to work with and very helpful. My husband and I had a wonderful experience and I would certainly highly recommend this well designed home.

We can't say thank you enough for sharing your home, certainly didn't feel like a rental!! The setting was out of a magazine, the home was immaculate and we relaxed immediately! Lorraine was always available and we were so grateful that we found such a perfect vacation setting! From beautiful plantings, to welcoming us with a bottle of wine, my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!! Thank you!

A beautiful home, beautifully situated

This is a beautifully decorated modern, clean, and private home overlooking Penobscot Bay. Very comfortable for the two of us, including occasional “sleep overs” of three grandchildren. Magnificent kitchen, fully supplied with tools, pots, and pans. Owner very gracious on our arrival, explaining the details of the house. Cocktails on the deck, laughing gulls, eagles, and fish breaking the surface along the bank. Nothing to complain about here!

Beautiful home, private setting, amazing water views

This is a beautifully appointed and recently updated home with an expansive back deck overlooking Rockport harbor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, did not want to leave and can't wait to return. The owner is very helpful, and genuinely wants guests to enjoy their stay. It was a wonderful experience!

Wonderful home in perfect location

This is a beautifully designed warm and modern home. The layout takes full advantage of the ocean front with expansive windows in most rooms and panoramic views. There are endless places to enjoy a book or have a drink and take in the view. Isolated, yet just minutes from Camden, Rockport and Rockland. It is a beautiful, interesting and relaxing place to stay.
