LUXURY LAKE HOUSE & TREEHOUSE DAYBED 5-STAR QUALITY- Plush beds for 10
WHEN WE STAY AT A LODGE, WE EXPECT THE VERY BEST AND THAT IS WHAT WE OFFER TO OUR GUESTS. ABSOLUTELY THE VERY BEST VIEWS AT LAKE CUYAMACA JULIAN. LUXURY BEDS FOR OPTIMUM COMFORT AND A PREMIUM ENCLOSED DAYBED IN A TREEHOUSE-LIKE SETTING AMONG THE TREES WITH A STREAM RUNNING BENEATH IT! FULLY FENCED LAWN AREA WITH FIRE PIT OVERLOOKING LAKE, MOUNTAINS, MEADOWS. THE LAWN AREA OVER LOOKING THE LAKE IS A MANICURED PRIVATE PARK SETTING.
Lake Cuyamaca Four Seasons Lake House...At 5000 feet above sea level, this is a 2500 square foot mountain home with the modern amenities of a fine hotel. Always Maintained & Meticulously Clean. We furnish quality beds and bedding to ensure that our guests receive an excellent plush- night's rest. We often receive guest requests asking where we obtain our bedding because they are that memorable. There are No pullouts, No bunkbeds, No sleeping pads, but only true comfort. Plus another 1000 square feet of outside decking with BBQ overlooking the entire Lake Cuyamaca area and beyond. A large manicured private lawn area and fire pit with a flowing waterfall-stream. The Barbecue area is located on another deck directly over the flowing water stream. This Barbecue area is designed for a folding table and chairs to be brought out and to have dinner surrounded by a magical view. This is truly a private park paradise where you can enjoy mesmerizing views from the main level deck, from the barbecue deck, from the deck within the trees, from the private Master bedroom upper deck or from the lower lawn area. You can also have a treehouse experience inside our 3-person Babmar Sunbrella fabric Daybed. It is fully encapsulated like a very large birdcage and it is actually like a treehouse on a raised hexagon-shaped deck in the middle of the trees with a running stream beneath it. It is the most relaxing place for reading, napping, or meditation.
As mentioned, We have tables for the outside decks so that you can enjoy Breakfasts, Brunches, and Dinners while facing and overlooking the entire lake, mountains, and meadows. Or Picnic on the lawn while enjoying the same incredible view. Imagine, meals, drinks, fellowship, at the deck tables while gazing over the lake, meadows, and mountains. It is a truly SPECTACULAR setting!!! It is the perfect place for a family gathering, a romantic get-a-way, or a gathering of good friends. Most of our guests are repeat guests.
Why not watch and listen to the flowing waterfall stream, the deck leading to another deck in the midst of trees, then descending some steps to a walkover bridge leading down to the lawn fire-pit area where you can roast s'mores or enjoy a bottle of wine while sitting around a warm oak fire. The owners have planted hundreds of flower bulbs, flowers from Oregon, and flowering trees for Spring and Summer blooms.
Whether you are a hiker, mountain biker, fishing enthusiast, nature lover, star-gazer, or just need some time to decompress and relax with family and friends, this Lake House will fulfill those needs.
The Cuyamaca 4-Seasons Lake House has three large Master suites in addition to a fourth den for sleeping purposes. As stated, the beds are luxurious as the owners believe it imperative that guests get a great night's sleep.
There is room to sleep 10 in the following bed areas:
Master Suite #1 has a King Size bed with premium down-feather pillows. The King size bed allows the guests to view the lake scene while they are in the bed. This is because the foot of the bed faces French double doors that open to a large private balcony with glass panels that overlooks the mountains, meadows, and lake. The French balcony doors have "invisible" screens that close so that mountain breezes flow through the room. The option is that doors and shades can close for complete privacy.
Master #2 has a Queen bed with premium Pottery Barn bedding and another armoire. It also has a screened sliding door that opens to a separate balcony area with incredible views.
Master #3 has a King size featherbed in addition to a Queen size bed and a standard twin bed. All bedrooms are large with ample room.
Each bedroom has a private bathroom.
The den area has a standard twin size bed.
The home has the latest 2025 high-end HVAC system. Central air-conditioning if ever needed and a recent 2025 forced air heating. In addition, there is a Large high-end gas log fireplace system in the Great Room that will warm the entire area. It is auto-fueled by gas and it only takes the push of a button to start. It is thermostatically controlled so that it can go on and turn off at preset temps.
These incredible views and the floor to ceiling rock fireplace in the Great Room make for a romantic setting or a cozy get-together. The floors are polished hardwood and the Great Room has southwest decor in addition to a 55" large screen TV. STARLINK allows for streaming programming. All insulated windows focus on the lake and the spacious views. STARLINK is the very best satellite internet in speed and streaming. The house features a shuffleboard table for competitive fun! The lake house is not lacking for anything. First-time guests are frequently surprised about the amount of amenities. We pride ourselves at making sure all of our guest's expectations are met and surpassed.
The housekeeper maintains this home in spotless condition. The kitchen has polished wood floors too and granite counter-tops. It has full appliances, serving pieces, cookware, ice-maker, dishwasher, 2 microwaves, compactor….. about everything you would find in your own home.
A large Weber outdoor BBQ grill is located on a far end of the viewing deck. It is the perfect item for grilling steaks, chicken, veggies, or even the trout you catch from the lake. You can have your dinner inside the home at the dining table or as stated, you can have a group dinner on the outside deck overlooking the lake.
In addition to the cleanliness of this home, the factor that truly sets it apart are the million dollar views. All areas of the home are COMPLETE views of the Lake Cuyamaca, Stonewall Peak, Cuyamaca Peak, Middle Peak, the Laguna Mountains, as well as the meadows. Every window has a Masterpiece view. These incredible views are actually from the lake house itself. You don't have to walk or drive to other locations to experience this. It is an everyday occurrence that various travelers walk or drive to the corner of this home to take in the awesome views and to take photographs with their cell phones.
The house is turn-key stocked with linens, towels, shampoo, Gel, Soaps, detergents, WIFI, Spices, paper products, Full Kitchen and more. We do not provide coffee grounds or Pods though. Guests bring their own as it is best if it is fresh.
The Cuyamaca Four Seasons Lake House is in the Cuyamaca Resort district and it borders Cuyamaca State Park. This State Park is the jewel of San Diego County and it draws enthusiasts who come for hiking, boating & fishing, bird and nature watching, star & night-sky gazing, and horseback riding & mountain bike riding (on designated trails). The hiking views are breath-taking. You will be able to overlook the Anza Borrego desert, see south into Mexico, North to San Jacinto near Palm Springs, West to the Ocean, ... or you can see all at once from a high vantage point. Deer and Wild Turkeys are routinely seen on and about the property and along the meadows and mountain sides. You will most likely see these animals up close as you relax on the decks. In addition, there are bobcat, marmots, raccoons, and foxes. There are mountain lions that live in these mountains because they feed on the deer herds. For this reason, It is best to be practical when hiking and do not travel alone and do not permit children to wander by themselves on the mountain trails. The Cuyamacas are an area of incredible beauty but it is a wilderness that is home to various animals.
There are birds of every kind that surround you including, Hawks and various raptors, Woodpeckers, Jays, Canadian Geese, Loons to name a few. Bird feeders are installed for close up viewing. These feeders are on telescopic poles so that our guests can view nature at eye level. There are also a pair of Bald Eagles that live in the trees near the lake. It is a special treat to see and hear the Bald Eagles chirping while they soar over the lake.
The back country night sky is something that must be seen any time of the year but especially during the meteor showers. Often times, we bring out the Celestron telescope for that.
For more leisurely pursuits, you can go to the old gold-mining town of Julian, about 9 miles up the road. Once there, you can peruse quaint shops, visit the winery, go on gold mine tours, stop by the soda fountain, or indulge in fine or casual dining. Of course, Julian is best known for home-made Apple Pie and you have your choice of several tasty pie making bakeries. But we know where the absolute best one is and we gladly share the location with our guests. (Hint: it isn't on Main Street where tourists gather.)
We welcome you to the Four Seasons House in Julian Lake Cuyamaca and we know that you will be mesmerized by the views, pleased with the amenities, and energized by the beauty and nature that surrounds you.
