Just 3 widely-spaced steps up into this ground-floor 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo right on the Pemigewasset River! Through the foyer, with bench for taking off shoes and boots, step into the living space with kitchen and dining area to your left and living room straight ahead, Enjoy the comfort of the wood-burning fireplace and flat-screen TV, or continue to the deck just beyond. Listen to the river from the deck seating, or step off and take a walk along it with your guests and/or dog(s).
On the right side off the entry is the queen bedroom with TV next to the hall bath, while on the right side is the larger bedroom with sets of twin over twin bunks and attached bath, with stacked washer/dryer opposite that door.
While here enjoy the Deer Park Club House with access to indoor pool, fitness room and man-made swimming pond with sandy beach.
During the summer, you must wear a wristband to use the lake.

Locally you will find plenty of seasonal and year-round activities to fill your time including shopping, golfing, mini-golfing, amusement parks (including a local waterpark), gondola / tram rides, natural attractions, alpine skiing and snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, river swimming, kayaking, bird watching and much more.

Family Friendly stay up north!

Clean and quiet

Very clean and quiet. Very relaxing to sit by the river. Loved that we could bring the dogs! Plenty of room to set up dog crate. Would definitely rent here again.

1st time at this unit 10th year staying at Deer Park

We have been coming to Deer Park for over 10 years. We have rented many different units and never had a bad experience until this time. The location is great, right in the river. The unit needs lots of cleaning and updating. We were waiting inside the car at 3:40 for a 4 o’clock check in when the cleaning crew pulled up. We ran to the store to grab groceries and we’re back by 4:10 and the cleaner has left. This is a two bedroom two bath unit cleaned top to bottom in less than 30 min?!?! The unit smelled like mildew and there was black speckled mold in the bathroom. The listing states washer and dryer so I put clothes on and laundry detergent on top of the clothes. When I went to start the washing machine it wouldn’t work! The TV was not working either. I called Loon and they sent someone who said the last renters reported The washer as broken ann nb d the couldn’t fix it. It would have been nice if they put a note on the machine!

Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice, spacious condo, perched right above the Pemigewasset River. it’s in a very good location to access hikes along the Kanc and Franconia Notch. It is clean and dog friendly. However, I was informed with only a couple days to spare that the fireplace could not be used nor could the pool and jacuzzi. I only normally book rentals with fireplace or wood burning stoves for fall/winter stays. This was very disappointing as I was lead to believe these were recent developments when, in fact, there was a note in the condo dated in May of this year from the maintenance staff regarding the fireplace and residents I spoke with said they knew since July that the pool and jacuzzi repairs would not be completed in October (the month of our stay). I feel either Loon Reservation Service doesn’t stay up to date on the CORRECT amenities or I was mislead about them in order to secure the booking. Would love to stay at the condo again but would definitely confirm the operable amenities first and stipulate in the agreement that I would want full refund otherwise. The owner did refund ~$110 of the $1,400 fee for 5 nights but the whole experience was upsetting. Again, nice condo in great location in nice little resort. Sits right on I-93 but zero highway noise, only soothing river in the background.

Easy first floor access. Unit in very nice condition. Allowing pets was key. Only recommendation would be to update to some of the dining room chairs as a few of them were unstable. Overall very pleased.

We love Deer Park but.....

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great week because the weather was perfect. The condo wasn't the cleanest, unfortunately. None of the furniture felt clean enough to sit on. The kitchen chairs were so loose that we needed maintenance in to tighten them. Someone sat on a patio chair and it was so flimsy that it broke just from being sat on. The description mentioned one AC in the unit but we couldn't access it as it was in the owners closet (maintenance had to get it for us). Unfortunately, I would not rent this unit again.
