Peaceful Family Trip
This home was a wonderful place to connect with family and offered space for teens and adults to relax and have fun. Appreciated the cleanliness of the home, access to the river, firepit and yard. Hope to plan another visit in the future!
The Riverfront WV Cabin was very private with a fantastic setting overlooking the Greenbrier River. Great facilities for relaxing in the screened in porch or by the large firepit. The location had easy access to nearby Marlinton. The cabin was spacious with a great kitchen and large bedrooms and baths. I would highly recommend the cabin.
House was fantastic. Kitchen was nicely stocked with pots/pans for cooking. Screened in porch was wonderful. Property manager was very responsive when we reached out. Would definitely rent again.
This beautiful house sits right along the river in a private location. My wife and I, our two daughters, and their husbands had a wonderful time there. We enjoyed meals together at the dining table and on the screened deck. Our favorite thing was time spent laughing together each night around the firepit table. Location was quiet yet still only a few miles to a grocery store.
Everything we needed was at the cabin. Wonderful views of the river. We were able to put our kayaks in at the cabin and float to Buckeye and Seebert.
We had a storm blow thru and the power went out but within 15 seconds the generator kicked on and we never missed a beat.
The house is large and well equipped. We enjoyed the large porch and the dining area for games of Uno. The kitchen certainly had what we needed. The house is near all sorts of outdoor activities. We biked, hiked, rode the Cass Scenic Railroad, and visited the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. Overall, a great place to stay.
Stayed here for a week with another family, with college to high school aged kids we were looking for a location to relax and spend time with the kids before they head off to school. This place exceded every expectation. The house was very clean and the location was secluded without feeling isolated. We loved having 2 large tables to eat or play games at. Every person we met in the town nearby was very friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful stay in this West Virginia home on the Greenbrier River. The home was beautiful and well maintained and the location was perfect for our planned activities of kayaking, fishing, and relaxing. While on or near the property we saw deer, eagles and other wildlife and we were on the river every day.Sitting on the porch overlooking the river was fantastic, with chances for being both outside and on the screened in porch when it rained. The check in process was clear and easy. We would definitely love to stay in this home again.
We had family from all over the country come and meet here for a week. This place was stunning, absolutely beautiful and relaxing. It had plenty of space to accommodate us all! Very clean and comfortable. One thing I would recommend is having back up linen such as top and bottom sheets, pillow cases and blankets. Maybe a larger trash bin for bigger/longer stays. Other than that- no complaints! I will definitely love to visit again!!
The house was as described/pictured, very nice. There are steps to take into consideration, but we had no problems. The river was low but still enough for kayaking and tubing with some walking involved. The section of river in front was perfect for wading/floating, easy access to water after some steps. Would definitely recommend for everyone unless steps are a problem. The stars are amazing! Love to return!
