We were first time visitors to Helen and the location of this condo was perfect. We three ladies felt very safe coming in and out and the Main Street is steps away. The condo is furnished in a charming way and we enjoyed all the amenities. The Christmas lights were being put up around town and were so beautiful even right across the street in the park. I would definitely like to return!

Great Helen location

Easy walk to restaurants and shops in Helen! Very clean and spacious property. Plenty of room for our family group. The property manager was very helpful and responsive!

Our experience and location was perfect for our small group throughout Thanksgiving and following days. Our en suite rooms were on the top floors with two other en suites and exactly as described with welcoming bathroom necessities. Well maintained, upgraded, clean & fresh, simple decor, and shows the owners do really listen to their guests suggestions.  This neighborhood area has the best casual local feel, easily accessible, and walkable to all areas on our bucket list.  It has close shopping, great local entertainment, and a couple of outstanding local affordable fresh choice restaurants, experiences, and many historical sights. We especially enjoyed discovering the City of Helen during our six day cultural emersion by getting to know the people, while still grilling on our very own balcony deck off the kitchen. Cori our guest contact, is an amazing communicator for any and all things related to this property. Yes, we all felt very lucky to have found this VRBO.

Location, location, location

Great place and perfect location. Decided to take a trip before my big surgery and we picked the right one. Close to everything we wanted. I will be laid up recovering from surgery but man, we had a blast.

Perfect Location Downtown Helen

We stayed here for a couples weekend took for Helen and Blue Ridge. The unit is located in the perfect location just steps from downtown. Newly renovated and very clean inside! The communication and check-in process for smooth and very simple. The only negative was that there were no toiletries like shampoo or body wash included, also no coffee or pods. So plan to bring your own! Other than that we would definitely stay here again and will absolutely be back to Helen!

Location, location, location

Excellent location. Close to everything, which allowed us to put are car keys down and walk. The townhouse was well-equipped with everything you need. It was also very clean. Please keep in mind that is a multi-floor townhouse. We loved it, put it could be difficult going up and down for individuals with limited mobility.

Absolutely beautiful

This little home was very cozy, private (despite neighbors being so close, they're friendly), and the mornings are beautiful listening to the birds. Beware, bears attacked our trash can. Only complaint was the air upstairs was loud.Other than that, I can't brag enough!

6th anniversary, I did all the planning and you made it easy. I’ve never planned a getaway, my wife does that stuff. She was completely impressed! Loved the location and the KING BED! Family weekend

Our family gets together in North GA twice a year. Helen is usually one of our favorite summer choices because of the variety of restaurants and exciting culture. The cottage/condo was perfect for our family and within walking distance to shopping and dining. The place is very nicely decorated and fully equipped; even though we didn’t cook a single meal - haha! We enjoy trying new bakeries and restaurants each time we come. The only drawback I can mention is that it would be nice to have access to a washer and dryer to clean clothes after a day “tubing the ‘Hooch’” or playing in the heat of summer. Overall: Great accommodations and great location! Thank you for sharing the home with us!

Lovely condo convenient to shops and restaurants

Updated living room, kitchen, and bedrooms with beautiful decor. The convenience to town and restaurants was certainly a plus since we did not have to fight the street traffic nor search for parking places. As wonderful as this place was, I would not recommend it for families with kids or elderly because of the numerous sets of stairs, However they do state this in the listing. There was no access to washer/dryer but there isan iron and board. There is a partially covered deck, which was great for relaxing with a cool beverage, plus there is a grill with all the necessary BBQ tools. The dining area was small with only 4 chairs and two bar stools.The biggest disappointment was no curtain to cover sliding glass doors in the dining area and the afternoon sun made it impossible to sit there.

Nice place, but

This is a very nice place. When we arrived it was not cleaned. The bed sheets were nasty, as were the comforters, the bathrooms were not cleaned, but had fresh towels. We bought sheets and got others from a local hotel who took pity on us. We bought Clorax wipes, a broom and dust pan, and wiped everything down. We ran the dishwasher before using any of the dusty dishes. The manager sent someone to change the sheets, but they were so angry and rude we asked them to leave. Inspite of all of this, we enjoyed Helen Ga. We would not have chosen this place if we had known it had 3-4 flights of steps, and no washer and dryer, but that is on us.

Great location, great property

Overall an excellent experience. Not great 2 way communication with the property host but we had everything we needed. My first impression when i enteredvon the lowest level was the carpet on the stairs looked pretty dirty. I was concerned about the state of therest of the unit. Overall it was in really good condition. There were some blind slats that were broken and an upstairs window that neede repair. It is worth noting the bedroom with 2 twin beds is on the 3rd floor from the street level. Lowest level is entry from the 2 parking spots in the back of the unit. Up to street level is the kitchen, living space, and half bath. Next floor up are the king and queen suites that both have their own bathroom. Next floor up is bedrooms with 2 twin beds and bathroom. Location is amazing. Park is across the street and hiking trail is a short walk up the hill. Hofers bakery is at the bottom of the hill and the main square is on the other side of the park. All this made for easy access to everything in downtown Helen.

Great location for Oktoberfest! House has some wear and tear, but cute decorations and great character. Plenty of space for 5 ladies for our girls trip - great bathrooom space! Close to several wineries and Anna Ruby Falls for activities away from the main road. Back patio with fire pit was a perfect space to enjoy breakfast and cocktails in the evening. Plenty of parking for groups with a few cars - 2 fit in carport and 1 in front of house.Lots of steps (but totally doable), so easiest to unload out front then park in the carport afterwards. No toiletries in the house, but plenty of TP. There was not a Keurig to use pods, so we packed one along with a crockpot for one of our dinners.
