Thank you so much for your five star review of Edgewater Inn 115 and for describing us as the perfect place to unwind. We’re delighted to hear that you loved the lovely water views, enjoyed having so many great restaurants nearby, and found the pool and hot tub very nice. Our Charlevoix waterfront location on Round Lake, just a short walk to downtown shops, dining, the marina, and the iconic drawbridge, is a big part of what guests enjoy about staying in our condo style lodging. We’re also glad your condo provided a relaxing, comfortable home base for your Northern Michigan getaway. At the same time, we truly appreciate you letting us know you noticed a few ants in the kitchen and bathroom. That is not the experience we want for our guests. We have shared this with our housekeeping and pest control teams so they can treat and monitor the area to ensure it is fully resolved. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing Edgewater Inn. We hope to welcome you back to 115 soon for another peaceful Charlevoix stay with beautiful waterfront views, easy access to great food, and time to relax by the indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, and on the lake.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your recent stay at Edgewater Inn 115. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful location and the wonderful views of Round Lake and downtown Charlevoix. Many guests find our waterfront setting to be one of the highlights of their visit, offering a perfect place to relax on the balcony, watch boats pass through the harbor, and take in the activity of the Charlevoix drawbridge. Being within easy walking distance to restaurants, boutique shops, the marina, and nearby beaches makes Edgewater Inn an ideal spot for those looking to experience all that the area has to offer. We also appreciate your comment on the comfort and convenience of the unit, and we are glad it provided a welcoming space for your stay. Cleanliness is one of our top priorities, and while you found much to enjoy, we regret to hear that the carpet in Unit 115 did not meet expectations. Your feedback is valuable, and we will ensure this is communicated to housekeeping and management so the issue can be addressed promptly. Our goal is for every guest to arrive at a spotless, well-maintained condominium, and we take concerns like this seriously. Regarding the check-in policy and guest rules, we understand that our standard 4:00 p.m. check-in and restrictions on unregistered visitors may feel particular at times. These procedures are in place to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all guests as well as to allow our staff enough time to thoroughly clean and prepare each unit between stays. That said, we always want the process to feel smooth and hospitable. We encourage guests to call ahead when early check-in might be helpful, as we do our best to accommodate requests when availability and scheduling permit. Edgewater Inn offers a variety of amenities to complement its prime location, including our indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub, waterfront terrace, and convenient parking. Our front desk team, available daily until 10 p.m., is committed to providing friendly assistance, answering questions, and ensuring that your stay is enjoyable. We’re pleased that overall your visit was a positive one and that Unit 115 provided a comfortable base for your time in Charlevoix. We sincerely thank you for choosing Edgewater Inn and for highlighting both the strengths and areas for improvement in your review. We are continually working to balance the charm of our individually owned condominiums with attentive service and modern hospitality standards. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future so you can once again enjoy the unbeatable views, convenient downtown access, and the relaxing atmosphere that make Edgewater Inn such a special place to stay in Charlevoix.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for noting that you enjoyed the beautiful view and nice space in the condo. I’m truly sorry, however, for your disappointment about the hot tub being closed for maintenance during your stay. I completely understand how frustrating that must have felt, especially since you chose this Charlevoix waterfront property specifically for the hot tub and were looking forward to using it after a day of exploring downtown, the marina, and nearby restaurants. We did have a banner posted on our website and included notice in our pre-arrival information to let guests know the hot tub was temporarily out of service, but it’s clear that message did not reach you in a way that felt clear or timely. That’s on us, and we appreciate you calling it out so we can communicate even more prominently in the future when an amenity like the hot tub is unavailable. We’re glad you were still able to enjoy the clean, comfortable condo, the beautiful harbor views, and the convenient location within walking distance of shops, bars, and dining, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance. Our goal is always to provide a relaxing stay with great views, easy access to downtown Charlevoix, and a full set of amenities, including the indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, and hot tub when it’s operating.

Hi Marty, Thank you for the positive review! We are glad everything was clean, convenient and comfortable for your stay. We hope to see you again for your next stay. Sincerely, The Staff at Northern Michigan Escapes

Thank you for your excellent 10/10 review of Edgewater Inn 115. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the views along the canal to be such a highlight. Unit 115 is a favorite for guests who love being right on the water, and it sounds like you took full advantage of the setting. Watching the Emerald Isle ferry come and go, along with the steady stream of boats passing through, creates an atmosphere that’s both relaxing and entertaining. We are delighted that this unique experience stood out to you and made your visit special. We appreciate your note about the drawbridge as well. While it does add some activity and occasional noise, many guests enjoy the lively energy it brings to the waterfront. Having such a close view of the bridge and harbor makes this location one of the most unique in Charlevoix. We’re also glad to hear that the condo itself was comfortable and provided you with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Cleanliness, comfort, and convenience are always priorities, and your feedback reassures us that our team continues to meet those expectations. Your mention of our staff being helpful and friendly is especially meaningful. From the front desk to housekeeping, our team strives to provide professional and welcoming service that enhances each guest’s experience, and knowing that you felt supported during your stay reaffirms our commitment to hospitality. We’re sorry to hear, however, that the hot tub was not heated properly during your visit. That is not the experience we want to provide, and we are actively working with our maintenance team to make sure this amenity is always warm, inviting, and ready for use. Your feedback helps us address these issues quickly and ensures future guests will enjoy the full range of amenities we provide. Thank you again for your thoughtful review of Edgewater Inn 115. We’re thrilled that the views, comfort, and location made your trip memorable, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another stay filled with the charm and beauty of Charlevoix.
