Vacation rentals near Harlech Castle

We Absolutely loved the house and the views were amazing.Could have done with a bit of a update on the kitchen cooking pots pans and and oven dishes as there was no where to eat out in the evenings unless you traveled out of town.So the slow cooker came in very handy.Apart from that it was very clean and we enjoyed our time there.

The house is in a great location overlooking the golf course and sand dunes towards the beach, you can clearly see the castle from the garden which is a cool feature.General location is great for access to the beach, castle and village with easy access by road and rail to nearby towns and villages (Abersoch is around 40 mins by car).Inside the house is spacious and quirky, there was plenty of space for our party of 8. We also made the most of the wood burner during our stay.The only issue we had was sharing the one shower between the group but this can be managed. Steep steps down to the house from the parking area could be a struggle for elderly/disabled.Would recommend the house and would stay again. Thanks

great situation,great inside,but the traffic noise was too much for me ,the bumpty bump of the tyres made me want to leave a day early.

The property was absolutely gorgeous with an exceptional attention to detail from the decorations at Ty Golchi to the beautiful gardens and sitting areas nestled in each corner of the extensive back yard. Gary was super welcoming and was super attentive when we had questions about the area. He was gracious in every way. A little slice of heaven not to mention the local bus picked us up and delivered us at and to our front door so we could visit the surrounding sea side towns. The kitchen was well equipped and shopping at Y Grocer Harlech allowed us to have breakfasts and dinners at the cottage and ate lunch out on our day trips. Lovely 7 days.

We enjoyed our visit to this beautiful part of Wales. The cottage was very clean, cozy and comfortable and we made many of our meals in. Having a laundry facility available close by was very helpful as well! The walks right out the door of the cottage we’re magnificent. The communication with the owners was prompt and easy. We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Hen Gegin! We hope to come back again some day!
