  • Cosy house very close to Lake and ski slopes

"We had a chance to stay in this house for a ski trip with a group of friends. The house is very cosy, beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, the fireplace was ready to use with dry logs next to it: nothing was missing! The owner is very nice and flexible and transaction with her went smoothly. I will definitely think about this cabin for future trip in Homewood."

  • Wonderful home for our family reunion!

"Our family group of 12 enjoyed this wonderful home. Darcy couldn't have made the whole rental process easier or more professional. Plus, she talked with me several times and offered great tips on restaurants and things to do nearby. The house was very well stocked. And- if you have a toddler like we did you have all the gear you need-high chair, portable crib, potty seat, and even a baby gate to make block the stairway. The home has a very large deck, roomy living area, and a dining table that allows for a big family dinner. Being only a bit more than a mile away from Kings Beach, a Safeway, restaurants, and a fun miniature golf course made it a great location. Plus, you can walk right down the street and have access to hiking trails. One trail leads to a fire look-out that delighted all of us with a splendid view of Lake Tahoe. We would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to Lake Tahoe!!"

  • Great North Shore location and roomy for a large group

"We had several family members come in from out of state and wanted a large vacation home to accommodate 11 adults and 1 child. There was plenty of sleeping room for all of us, and the kitchen living room was a perfect gathering place for meals. The instructions to open the home and take advantage of all the amenities, including the hot tub, were spot on. We only spent 4 nights and everyone was sad to leave. We would have rated our stay 5 stars but the steep stairs to access all the levels was a little difficult for our older guests to manage. Other than that, the property had everything we needed to make our Tahoe vacation perfect. Thank you Paola Dozzo for making our first VRBO rental stress free!!"

  • A perfect place for a Christmas getaway

"Boring Manor is a wonderful house, spacious and well appointed. Many Tahoe area cabins can be pretty cramped, but this house had three large bedrooms, a very large family room/dining area and a good sized kitchen. Plenty of room for our party of 5 adults, but would have also been great with a larger group and for kids. I was a little unsure, because there are not many pictures, but rest assured each bedroom is nicely decorated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the large recliner sofa (not pictured) and the automatic gas fireplace (all the ambiance, none of the hassle). The house in a great location. A few minutes outside of King's Beach on a quiet road. We went snow shoeing at Northstar (less than 15 minutes away) and skiing at Diamond Peak (only about 20 minutes away). The owner was very easy to work with and accommodating of our family dog! This house is a great place, and a great value. Thanks!"
