Looking for a fully furnished, cozy get-a-way to relax and unwind?

Our lovely Blue Bell Cabin is nestled among pines and aspens, giving it a secluded feel while just 10 minutes from town. It's a wonderful mountain destination surrounded by spectacular scenery, an area rich in history, and fun-filled activities for everyone.

Spring, summer, fall, or winter, our cabin provides privacy and comfort and a chance to connect with nature. You can enjoy great mountain views, a night of star-gazing, and the sun rising over Pikes Peak from the two private decks. Scenic drives are literally everywhere and hiking abounds at several area state parks and national forests. Explore all the charm and history of Cripple Creek by day and into the night. Visit the nearby Florissant Fossil Beds, Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center, Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, and ride to the top of Pikes Peak. Enjoy fly-fishing in Gold Medal Waters, snow skiing on world class slopes, gambling in nearby casinos, and white water rafting and zip-lining at the impressive Royal Gorge.

This modern, fully furnished 2-bedroom, 1 bath chalet-style cabin accommodates 6 adults comfortably with a Queen bed in both of the upstairs bedrooms and a NEW Queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress downstairs. The bright, sunny rooms are welcoming and allow nice passive solar heating. Linens for the beds are provided and each bedroom has multiple sets of towels. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, blender, linens, microwave, a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven with cook-top. The downstairs bathroom has a tiled tub/shower combination and is furnished with towels. The wood stove serves as a very efficient alternative to the radiant baseboard heating and the fireplace offers a romantic element.

Unwind after a day in the mountains with a barbecue on the back deck. Enjoy bird-watching and the deer as they graze through each day.

We are dog friendly (with prior approval) and have FREE WiFi! While well-maintained state and county roads bring you to our cabin, an all-wheel/4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during our rainy/snowy months.

Getting to know our "Future HomeTown"

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful way to be immersed in what it will be like living in our new hometown! So beautiful and more than we imagined. We loved your place as it was perfect seeing ours "across the way" and finalizing our plans for our own home there in the mountains.

Everything at Blue Bell Cabin was perfect! We loved the everything about it and especially the view and peacefulness!

We will be sure to recommend BBC for our relatives and friends...

We had a wonderful time during our mini-vacation while staying at the Blue Bell Cabin. It is a very cozy and pleasant cabin with beautiful views from the patios. We were able to bring our large dogs along - thank you Celia and Barry!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area!

  • 5 of 5

My bf and I stayed at this cabin over Thanksgiving break and it was stunning! The area is quiet and beautiful. Pike's Peak is nearby, as are hiking trails (we did one at Muller State Park). On our first night, we saw deer and bighorn sheep and we even had a deer approach the cabin a couple days later. There are two decks, both of which boast a scenic view. On clear nights, you can see a million stars. The cabin itself is perfect for a couple or single family. It is well maintained and clean and has everything you might need. The cabin's owners were easy to communicate with. If you're looking for a quiet getaway focused on the natural beauty of the mountains, this is it! We definitely left refreshed. Final note, if you are not used to high elevation, expect to need time to adjust. While I have lived in Colorado previously, the altitude proved to be a little exhausting for me on a couple of the days.

Littleton, Colorado

If you want peace, quiet and beauty, this is the place!

  • 5 of 5

Celia and Barry have done an outstanding job of making their cabin feel like home to those who are lucky enough to get to stay there. They have provided above and beyond what you would expect in any rental. Each room has a theme with great decorations to fit, warm, wonderful heated mattress pads, a fully stocked kitchen, with beautiful dinnerware. A wood burning stove plus central heating. Two decks that give you such an awesome view, tables to eat outside, a nice gas grill with propane tanks and so much quiet! It snowed when we arrived and we thought we were in Heaven! Thank you so much for allowing others to enjoy your beautiful cabin. We loved everything about it!

About Celia & Barry

We love nature and the outdoors. As avid photographers we have a zest for adventure and experiencing the joys that the world and life have to offer. As busy professionals, we have come to a stage in our lives where we want the simple life to pursue our dreams in a relaxed, down to earth fashion.

Why Celia & Barry chose Cripple Creek

After exploring southern Colorado, we fell in love with the Cripple Creek area. During one of our vacations, we had the opportunity to stay in this delightful cabin. This cabin felt like home, unpretentious, comfortable, easy to access and just the right size. We were fortunate to make it our own. With easy access to the main road, we are able to pursue our love for exploring the Colorado Rockies on our Honda Goldwing motorcycle. With hiking out the back door and trail-heads so close, we are able to explore all the incredible scenery, incorporating our enthusiasm for photography.

This little bit of heaven is tucked away, offering privacy without the feeling of remoteness. Cripple Creek is only a 7 minutes drive with casinos, shopping, restaurants, a grocery store, gas station, hardware store and Emergency Medical Services. Call us if you have any questions. 512-797-5800

We had a fabulous time in this cabin. I'll start by saying that I'm one of those weirdos who unloads a can of Lysol at every, I didn't need to do that. Just the sheer cleanliness was a great way to begin our time in Cripple Creek. The plate of cookies that were left for us was devoured in minutes by the boys.

If you are looking for privacy, you will find it here the outdoor area is beautiful with plenty of wildlife to watch from the huge deck. i walked quite a ways down the mountain, through the trees with my dog. At one point a doe ran past us only about 10 feet away. once she was past, she stopped to check us out for a couple of minutes and then was on her way.

The cabin is super close to the fossil beds in Florissant and to Cripple Creek. It's an easy, scenic drive to Woodland Park, Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. You can catch the train to Pikes Peak from Manitou Springs).

I highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the Cripple Creek area, but outside of town (just) in the mountains.
