  • 2 thumbs up!!

"If you are looking for a clean and cozy vaca rental that is conveniently located to the mountain you have succeeded!!! The beds are super comfortable, and we greatly appreciated how well the kitchen was outfitted. I loved the gorgeous view of the mountain while sitting with my coffee on the couch before we left to ski! The babbling of the river is great also. Jeff was so helpful and prompt with any questions-Two thumbs up!!"

  • wonderful 2 weeks on the lake

"We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Highland Lake, Bridgton, Maine. We had our 4 year old Labrador with us and we thoroughly enjoyed the lake, the canoe and the deck. We walked the dog through the neighborhood, which was fun as it is Christmas Shores and all of the streets are named Sleighbell Lane or Kris Kringle or Santa Clause and met several friendly neighbors. The house was well outfitted with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a dining room, living room and working wood burning fireplace and plenty of plates and glasses and cookware. We cooked out on the grill and ate on the picnic table on the back deck most evenings. We used the loungers on the deck as there was not much sandy beach at this time. We had several lovely meals in town, one night at Venezia, 1 nights at Vivo, 1 night at the Gastropub. The lobster place at the rotary has wonderful lobster rolls. I recommend reservations for Venezia and Vivo. We saw a couple of movies at the theater and enjoyed trivia in the pub attached. The washer and dryer came in handy, but they are not full size and the washer needs to be hooked up to the sink so I was pleased that we overpacked as usual so that I did not have to rely on them. We would definitely go back."

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

"Wow! We stayed at the Greenwood home (Family Ski and Lake Retreat) over Christmas week and had a wonderful time. The home is warm, cozy and inviting. Thank you, Nadine for the Presecco and salted carmels...what a pleasant welcoming surprise! It was so nice to gather around the lovely fireplace and watch the snow fall from the large picture windows mid week. The driveway was cleared for us and we had no difficulty getting in/out. If we had any requests, Nadine was always available and gracious. There was more than enough room for our friends and family. The kids all shared rooms and had fun together. Even though there wasn't much snow, we were still able to go to Sunday River to hike, and use the zip line. The covered bridge was very picturesque and we hiked the trail along the stream. We ended our stay with a horse-drawn wagon ride at Bethel inn. We highly recommend this home for your vacation needs."

  • Absolute Perfection

"We have just returned from spending an idyllic week with our children and grandchildren at Sylph Lodge, a truly authentic Sebago Lake camp. You know you have discovered a very special home when, within 24 hours of your arrival, you book your 2nd family visit for August 2017. Andy greeted us as we drove down the driveway and his tour of the Lodge made us feel instantly at home. The accommodations were very comfortable for 6 adults and two, young children. My first memory was walking through the kitchen to the dining room and spotting the basket of homemade blueberry muffins (secret family recipe) on the table. They were delicious and enjoyed by all. We wasted no time in finding our way down to the beach. We not only had 30 feet of beachfront but a dock and a float. Our grandsons are 1 and 3 years old so the gradual entry into the water was perfect. By the end of our visit, our eldest grandson had taken a supervised "swim" out to the float. There is a large outdoor deck with a stone fireplace. It became a gathering spot for chatting/reading during the day and roasting marshmallows and making s'mores in the evening. Our children and grandchildren are very precious to us and to be able to spend a week together in this incredible setting was a blessing. What memories we made during these seven days. Now, we will begin to plan for our return next summer. Our children and their families live in Minnesota and Tennessee so this may very well become an annual family tradition. Andy and Christopher, thank you for being the MOST AWESOME hosts anyone could ever hope for. You went out of your way to make sure we had everything we needed and we sincerely appreciate your kindness."
