Owner Description

We are Curt & Shirley Miller. We live in Albuquerque, NM. We love outdoor activities like skiing and hiking and biking and that's why we love Angel Fire and have a house there. We have 2 teen aged children.
Why the Owner Chose Angel Fire
Since we love the outdoors Angel Fire was a great place to have a house. There is so much to do here. We love it and we know our guests will love it too.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We have deer and elk in our yard on a regular basis. We can hear an owl hooting at night. The stars are incredible on a clear night. We are close to the ski area on a main road. The jetted tub is great for after a hard day of skiing or hiking. Our house is passive solar and faces south so we have a very light and bright house that stays very warm in the winter thanks to the sun.

The house was clean and well maintained. It is very close to the ski area. We got a glimpse of an elk after dark. I would stay at this house again.

We really enjoyed our stay in your home. The location is wonderful and relaxing. We needed this time to reflect on our life after the death of our son, and this was a great place to be. I knew we were in a good Christian home when I walked in. We fished, hiked, and just traveled around and looked at the country. Again thank you.

We just returned from our trip to your house in Angel Fire,NM. The home was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 4 children. The home was very clean and the amenities were abundant. We actually gave the 4 children the upstairs master suite and it worked out wonderfully. They enjoyed their hide-away from the parents and the noise was minimal. The location of the home is great! The neighbors were very friendly and invited our kids over to sled with them. We look forward to returning soon! Thanks for sharing your vacation home with us!

Our family just returned from a week of skiing and rented this home. What a wonderful stay and home! It had everything you needed to make a memorable vacation. The home is located in the neighborhood across the street from the ski resort and made an easy commute each morning to the lifts. We can't wait until next year!

I can't properly express how pleased we were with this house. It is very well laid out and the Millers have done everything possable to make our visit comfortable. They have made everything possable available. This house is exceptionally equipped. Angel Fire is a very pleasently located between Red River and Taos and the town its self has many attractions available. Even Sante Fe is within easy driving distance. I hope you have as much fun as we had staying in this house.

My family spent Spring Break at this cabin and really enjoyed it. We especially enjoyed the location of the cabin...just a couple minutes drive from mountain and grocery store! My family enjoyed making a snowman and sledding in the spacious front yard. The cabin was stocked with all the cooking items we needed to make wonderful family meals each day and the owners had a ton of games for us to play. We would definitely recommend this cabin to our friends/family looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life!

When we arrived it was snowing hard, yet the highway was clear & salted and the main road to the cabin was plowed; an easy find. Inside was warm and spacious; while some watched cable TV the rest prepared dinner in a fully equipped kitchen. The drive to the ski area was less than a mile; within 20 minutes we were booted up with lift tickets. That evening we selected one of the many board-games available, fired up the wood stove and relaxed in over-stuffed recliners & couches. On day two the sky’s cleared and the country side revealed a snowy white wonder land and new powder. The solar heating architecture kept the temperature warm despite the 17 degrees outside. The nights were quiet and still, the cabin is built solid and efficient. This is our first of many visits to Angel Fire and we can’t wait to return to this cabin.

We had a great time in Angel Fire. The snowboarding was great! My daughter took the Magic Bus back to the house for $1.00. This way we didn't have to wait around when we were through. It was great coming back to the house which was real clean and comfy. The private bedroom upstairs was roomy with a big bath. It was beautiful and peaceful.
