Built in 2005, this charming craftsman cottage is just a 5-minute walk to the village of Eastsound. The great room’s open design, high ceiling, and unique skylight give this delightful three-bedroom retreat the feel of a luxurious and sunny treehouse.
The kitchen is bathed in madrona-filtered light, and the dining and sitting area are perfect for entertaining. There are three bedrooms downstairs, two with peak-a-boo views of the harbor.
In the morning, sit on the deck, gaze over the water and enjoy your morning coffee. Ponder whether to walk to the Saturday market or dine out in one of the many nearby restaurants. Maybe you will just stay in and curl up next to the fire to write your memoirs--it is all possible!

Sept 9 -Jun 14 .. $200/nt (2 nt minimum).
$200 Security Deposit is required and is refundable up to 4 wks after departure.
50% deposit is required upon acceptance of reservation,
Balance of funds required 30 nts prior to arrival.
No cancellations within 3 nts of arrival unless we are able to re-rent the dates.

We stayed in this lovely cottage in late July, 2011. The cottage is just as pictured, and there is a nice grassy area out back where our kids played. The views out the back windows are just wonderful. There is also a loft with a nice queen mattress that my son was happy to find so he didn't have to bunk with me which made it more enjoyable for both of us. The people in the cottage next door were very friendly. It is definitely within easy walking distance of Eastsound, and when you walk into the village take the road above the cottage (Geer Ln) into town instead of walking back onto Orcas Road so you'll miss the traffic. We didn't figure this out until the last day. The owners were great to work with and we plan to come back next summer. Thanks George!

What a darling cabin!The space is beautifully designed, and we loved the decor... very woodsy. Close enough to town for a stroll in for the paper, church, or just shopping.We will definitely visit Orcas again and stay at this property.

Our stay was great! The cottage was comfy, clean and convenient to Eastsound shops and restaurants. We loved the view and peaceful setting. I'd definitely recommend it to others!

A fine spot for a getaway! The cabin was clean, comfy and cozy. We loved being able to stroll into town for breakfast and newspaper, or whatever. Also liked the large social space with quiet bedrooms downstairs. Thanks for contributing to a great weekend.
