We had a great stay at Audrey's Place. The Townhouse was neat and clean and just minutes from the beach and Coligny Circle. Plenty of room for eberyone and loved the porch with the gas grill. It was well equipped with all the utensils, grill, cups, pans, toiletress etc...We were able to access the beach right across the street. Great community for dogs and walking. Plenty of room for the bikes right outside. We would definately stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We just returned from our stay here. Very neat and clean. Plenty of room for our stay - two adults, two boys, and a dog. Owner's very quick to respond, and sent all the information we needed. No issues with our stay at all. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners.

What a fabulous place to stay. Immaculately kept with comfortable furniture, especially the beds. Ample room, nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and glassware and every utensil one could need. Private bathrooms in each bedroom in addition to a half bath downstairs. This condo is exactly as advertised. Pet friendly, quiet, comfortable and convenient. I look forward to returning whenever we visit Hilton Head. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend this place, especially for responsible pet owners.Owner response: Thanks so much! We are looking forward to your return visit.

We've been coming to Hilton Head for years - since the 1980s. I had a timeshare, and I sold it about 5 years ago, and this place is so much better than staying at the timeshare! First of all, it is exceptionally well maintained with new or almost new appliances, a well-equipped kitchen, and a nice up-to-date TV along with a wireless modem for computer use. My timeshare seemed pretty run down in comparison! Secondly, it was sparkling clean. There was not a speck of dirt, not one. That was really nice, and it made us feel very comfortable. Another thing we really liked about this condo is the patio. It is relatively private out back, and the condo/townhouse is an end unit, which is nice. We were grateful for the privacy from passersby in the back since we had our dogs with us, and they did not have much to bark at because it is nice and private. We appreciated the grill too and made good use of it - another thing we never could do in the timeshare. This was really a step up for us in that regard. Also, Audrey is about the nicest person in the world to work with. We come to Hilton Head about every year or so, and we will definitely rent this condo again. I am so glad we found it! It felt like a home away from home, and it really made our stay at Hilton Head one of the best ever this last time. The location is great, the beach is close and there is a really close beach access now so you no longer have to go all the way to the Holiday Inn to access the beach, the unit is well maintained, clean, very comfortable and up to date, and the owner, Audrey, couldn't be nicer. As far as activities go, rent bikes, shop, golf, be a beach bum because there are no prettier beaches, visit Sea Pines, visit the Charles Pinckney Wildlife Preserve to see some neat birds (but not with dogs), relax, take a kayak tour, visit Daufuskie Island (well worth it), take a sailboat tour (also well worth it), and enjoy the folks at Hilton Head because they are so friendly. Check out some of the Gullah cultural things as well. Oh - and buy some fresh local shrimp right from the trawler and take 'em back "home" and grill 'em. Yum!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thanks so much for taking such great care of our vacation home. We look forward to and welcome your return.

First off, I must say that the villa was super clean and sunny and had everything we needed to celebrate our anniversary in style! The back deck was private and pleasant and perfect for a candle lit anniversary dinner. The grounds were beautiful and well kept and the neighbors were friendly. The beach was not as far away as we had originally thought. Here's a secret: cross the street at any crosswalk, there are paths to the beach - you don't need to walk all the way to the traffic circle! The whole area is dog-friendly and our chihuahua seemed to love all the smells and the attention. We. Will. Stay. Here. Again. It was worth more than we paid!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This lovley Two bedroom townhome is great. Each bed room has its own full bathroom. The kichen/ counter top in conjunction with the living room and dining area made cooking and dining enviting and enjoyable. There is a grill on the back patio that made bbqing a nice part of the vaction. However bring your bbq tools and clean the bbq before and after use (palmetto bugs). The town home had cool ac and a cealing fan in the master bedroom. All in all everything was good. All appliences were clean and newer. The ice machine in the frigde was great to fill up a personal cooler. Location-We walked to the beach everyday. No more than 10 mins. If your carrying an umbrella, cooler, chairs and blankets as we did a beach buggy or some sort of cart is a must. This town home is an end unit and is very colse to two pools we used. If your facing the town home, to the rear and left is a smaller pool 3 to 5 ft deep...the larger pool to the rear and to the right is 3-8 ft deep...both nice. Coligny Plaza is about a 20 min walk or so..we drove it in two nins because we stayed during a heat wave..heat index 100-108 almost everyday. Owner- Audrey is great, thank you...you were very accomidating, the map and brochures were helpfull. We were able to communicate about everything and reassured us with confidence that we would have a nice time and we did. Pet owners...we brought our family pet a 2 1/2 year old german sheapard that is creat trained. Their was a vacume in the closet that we were not afraid to use. This place is filled with dog lovers. That being said..you have to clean up after your dog and be kept on a leash. There are other dogs and kids in the complex and everyone should have control of each. Plus a loose dog will make a nice meal for the gators in the ponds...dont take any short cuts or go in the ponds! Cons- Palmetto bugs and Jellyfish...Palmetto bugs are all over the island and there is nothing you can do about that, thats life on hilton head. Jelly fish in the ocean, nothing you can do about that either..however when people did get stung which was everyday the beach patrol had some sort of spray bottle to help the stinging. I didnt get stung but i didnt venture to far out in the water after i saw multiple kids running and crying back to shore! I would recommend this townhome to anyone and i would stay again. There is plenty to do on the island. Thanks again Audrey.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Owner response: Thank you Adam, Jill and Miley for treating our HHI home as your own. You left the condo in immaculate condition. I'm sorry about the grill tools. They will once again be in the stove drawer when I return in the Fall. It is advantageous to have a cart for the beach. We have found it to be a must, especially when we have the children with us. Once again thanks. We have been very fortunate to have renters like you. -Audrey

This is, by far, one of our favorite vacation rentals. As far as the townhome goes, it was spotless, spacious, and the thermostat was set on a perfect setting so that when we came in from the heat, there was an automatic refreshing chill as we entered the home. I loved how linens and towels were provided and that there was wireless internet. We were able to bring our dog and ride our bikes to the beach. Audrey, from day one of contact, was nothing but helpful and informative. We planned this trip last minute and she definitely made sure things happened in a timely fashion so that we could rent from her. This was our first time to HHI and staying in this location definitely aided in our approval and enjoyment. Not knowing much about the island, we stepped in gold with Audrey because her property is only a short bike ride away from one of the most popular parts of the island; Coligy Plaza. If you come to HHI, you must bring bikes or at least rent them. We only used our car once to get groceries; the rest, we either traveled by foot or went for a bike ride. It was absolutely fabulous! Thank you, Audrey!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the location, as I knew you would. Planning this vacation was delightful because you were so excited and made it a fun experience. Thank you .
