Molokai Komohana is located adjacent to the rolling pastures of the Molokai Ranch, on the west end of the peaceful island of Molokai. As you look down across the beautiful fields, inhabited with horses and cattle, you will see the spectacular beaches that are only minutes away, including the largest white sand beach in Hawaii! The lovely Kaluakoi Golf Course is also in view, fronting the majestic Molokai coastline.
Komohana means, West, where the sun enters the sea. The inviting front porch of our plantation-style home is a comfortable place to take in the golden sunsets, over Diamond Head, on the island of Oahu. You may want to linger and enjoy the millions of stars that grace the skies of night-time Molokai. Our evenings are cool and refreshing and a hot cup of tea or some hot chocolate, with fresh homemade cookies, are a cozy addition to the evening.
You may want to relax in your room or in our inviting living room. We have entertaining table games of Hawaiian theme or our collection of books on Hawaiian culture and history may be of interest as well. Of course, TV is available both in your room and in the living room. A pool table is available, for those in the mood for a game of pool. There is also the option of taking a leisurely walk to the world-class Molokai Lodge for dinner, and perhaps taking in a movie at the theater nearby.
In the morning, awake well rested and enjoy a delicious island breakfast including fresh fruit, hot dish, Molokai coffee and homemade breads or rolls. Now, you are ready to enjoy a great day on Molokai! We will be happy to help you plan your time on our lovely island. Tempting box lunches may be requested for your day at the beach.
