This is a working farm--we are grapegrowers. Take a walk through 20 acres of our private vineyards--we grow Sauvignon Blanc for nearby Rodney Strong Winery and Ledson Winery. We also have a small zin vineyard for making family wine.

Our property which includes our home & our 3 vacation homes is just a 4 minute drive or 20 minute power walk to Healdsburg Plaza. We love small towns with a village center. Previously we lived in Saratoga and Capitola, CA. So, we knew a town like Healdsburg was perfect for us. When we travel, location is everything. We chose our property because it was in the country but a perfect location for us and our guests. Close to everything and a beautiful setting. We're surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards...what a great place to wake up every morning. We offer affordable lodging--our guests can dine in or zip into town to a restaurant.
The Unique Benefits at this Wine Country Farmhouse 25 Acre
We live here and enjoy all the great activities visitors enjoy. Taking a walk through the vineyards any time of day is a treat. We pack picnics and have lunch and play bocce ball at wineries that are just 10 minutes away. We love the great restaurants in town when we treat ourselves to dinner out. And, we enjoy meeting our guests, telling them about our grape growing adventures and sharing ideas on enjoying our wine country - Healdsburg. So many of our guests come to stay here again and again.
Location is everything. We are just a 4 minute drive to Healdsburg Plaza where you will find shops,cafes and wonderful restaurants. You'll love walking around our friendly wine country town.

We live on the property...it's 25 acres with 20 acres of vineyards and our home + 3 guest houses. Walt retired from computer engineer and reinvented himself as a grape grower. He talked to wineries and planted grapes for Rodney Strong and Ledson Wineries. He also grows 2 acres of zin for family wine making. Barbara is a writer and product developer of K-6 educational books & products for students and teachers created for several publishers. Barbara had a national seminar biz for teachers and is a retired "road warrior." You can write anywhere, so the writing continues. They have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. We take hiking trips around the world, play golf, grow fruits & veggies and are living the dream in the wine country. Life is good!
