Beach Front Villa for rent with 4 very spacious bedrooms and 3 baths. Wake up to beautiful sunrises and breathe taking views of the Sea of Cortez and Isla Cerralvo. Upstairs there are 2 master suites with views, king beds, private baths, mini refrigerators and a patio with hammocks for your afternoon siesta. Downstairs there are 2 rooms each with a view, king bed and a shared bath one of these rooms also has a twin bed in it. A large gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. The house is surrounded by a palapa roof with several hammocks for relaxing. The house can sleep up to 13 people very comfortably. Daily maid service can be arranged in advanced.
La Ventana is a 30 minute drive from La Paz and a 2 to 2 ½ hour drive from Cabo airport. This area has become very well known for its world class kite boarding, windsurfing and excellent water sports (fishing, snorkeling, diving, and kayaking). This small fishing village has very friendly people and there are several restaurants and taco stands. All activities can be arranged for your enjoyment by nearby outfitters or bring your own equipment and launch right off the beach in front of the house.

I recently stayed at this property for the second time. It is in great condition and a wonderful property. Our group totally enjoyed our vacation and will stay at this house again.

We were looking for the perfect place to bring family and friends together, while offering everyone an opportunity to take what they needed to replenish after a deeply sad and difficult period in all of our lives. Our experience from the initial booking conversation with Marla through our departure five weeks later was nothing less than perfect! The home sets the stage for peaceful relaxation, both shared and personal space all in the beauty and splendor captured in John Stienbeck's "Journal of the Sea of Cortez". A major asset is George who caretakes the property with attentivness. George had the water switched from City (when ever the city lines had issues) to the personal reserves often prior to us even knowing about outages, as well as overseeing a number of small facility issues that are simply part of living in Mexico--certainly not attributable to the home. in addition, George greeted us the first night when we drove in from our long flight dazed and confused in the darkness. He continued to steer us towards the discovery of all aspects that made us feel like part of the community. We've traveled a considerable amount and were pleased to find the kitchen and living places were equiped with all the amenities of a personal home--games, music, movie DVD's and certainly not least a fully equiped kitchen with spices pots and pans to prepare food for two to twelve plus people, knives galore and even a few telavera ceramic pieces whose beauty were generously available for us to serve our special dishes. The home was as advertised, in addition to being fully serviced--A wow experience was had by all!! As always it is strobly advised to arrive at the house prior to dark and not drive the main roads after dark--as it is Mexico and street signage and lighting can be minimal and roaming livestock frequent. ENJOY!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
