COQUINA COTTAGE is less than four blocks to the King and Prince beach resort. A great cottage to stay in for weddings.
The cottage has a mid-century modern appeal coupled with a coastal Georgia flair. Coquina Cottage is a southern haven providing plenty of room for relaxation and enjoyment.
My cottage offers all the luxuries needed to truly experience this wonderful barrier island. The cottage’s décor enhances all the builder’s upgrades. The master bedroom has its own bathroom suite with an oversized tub and cove ceilings. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with plush queens beds. The third bedroom has a set of twin beds. All bedrooms have large, walk-in closets and ceiling fans. Fluffy white towels and bed linens complete the experience.
VACATION RENTAL AMENITIES:
There are four televisions (one is each bedroom), 3 DVD players, high-speed wireless internet (so bring your laptop) and charcoal grill with cooking utensils. The kitchen is full size with new appliances and is fully equipped—pots and pans and with an abundance of dishes, bowls and glassware. Many spices are provided for your cooking needs.
ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS:
COQUINA COTTAGE is perfect for golfers, families and/or couples. Complete with everything to enjoy a few weeks stay on the island or just an extended weekend getaway.

COQUINA COTTAGE is close to many award-winning restaurants. From locally prepared seafood at many fine establishments to some of our great southern BBQ cuisine served with sweet tea.
VACATION RENTAL RATES:
I pride myselves on offering fair and reasonable rates. A refundable Security Deposit of $300 for a week or less is due within seven days of booking. Deposit will be refunded within two weeks of departure unless extra cleaning is required or there is damage to property.
Full payment for rental period is due one month prior to occupancy.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Since 1988 until 2004 I was looking for a cottage that was near the ocean, The King & Prince Beach Resort and the pier/village area. I found my cottage! It is located off of Mallery Street (formerly old Proctor Lane).
The Unique Benefits at this House
I love our quiet, dead-end street. Enjoy being on my patio at night and looking up at the pine trees. Every minute or so I see the light from our St. Simons' lighthouse scan across the tree tops.
The very best thing is a foggy night. To look up at the trees and see the light from the lighthouse and and hearing the fog horn sounding in the night for the ships!

Hi Dolly, It was a great football weekend and the cottage was great! You are a gracious hostess! We will highly recommend the cottage to anyone visiting St. Simons! It is convienent to the village yet very private. Some food comments: We had a great lobster and crab salad at Mullet Bay! Add Nazarros (sp) Italian Restaurant (in the shopping center across from the airport) to your list, we had a great dinner there (chicken marsala). All your recommendations for restaurants were right on! Thanks again for a great weekend! Take care, Bill

We enjoyed staying at Coquina Cottage in St. Simon's Island, GA. The owner, Dolly, was so easy going and was always available if we needed to communicate with her. The house was just as she described, and it was very clean and very comfortable. There were plenty of tvs and the house was more spacious than we had previously thought. It's in close proximity to the beach and the area with all the restaurants and the pier. We would recommend this home to anyone who is thinking of renting it for vacation. We don't often provide feedback on homes we rent but really, Dolly is an excellent owner and she will do her best to make you feel at home and answer any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. Thank you, Dolly!!

My family & I truly enjoyed our holiday on SSI. Coquina Cottage was like a little home away from home and you can't beat the location! It was perfect for us and had just about everything we needed for our week's stay. Dolly is a very attentive and always available for your questions and needs. If we come back to SSI we will definitely stay here again.

We have rented this house 4 times now and love it each time. It is so convenient to everything, the beach, village and restaurants. It is very comfortable and relaxing and is furnished with everything you could possibly need! When we stay here we never want to leave. Dealing with Dolly is so easy and she is very accomodating. June 30,2010 Dolly, You were a fantastic host and provided us with so much information even before we made our trip.My family thoroughly enjoyed our week in your fabulous cottage. The pictures don't due it justice. Everything we could possibly need was provided. We enjoyed the use of the bikes to tour the town. The boys loved the skate park that was across the street.That was awesome. We visited many of the restaurants that you recommended and you were right on target. The beaches were wonderful and we were able to take a fishing trip to Cumberland Island. That was one of the highlights of this trip.This was our first visit to St. Simon's and we couldn't ask for better accommodations. We will definitely be back. It is quite a unique place to visit.

Coqina Cottage was the absolutely the perfect place for our vacation. We felt at home the minute we walked in the door. The place was immaculate and Dolly added all the perfect touches to make you feel like her guest, not a renter. We were a short walk from the beach and the village and our dog loved the park that was right across the street. From the great books and movies to plenty of fluffy white towels...the cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We can't wait to go back!

Our stay at Coquina Cottage was a most enjoyable experience. We found the house to be well appointed and immaculate in every respect. It was spotlessly clean and offered virtually everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The quiet location was perfect for our particular needs, and the fact that it was adjacent to a small park and only minutes from the beach made it very nice and quite convenient for walking our pets in a pleasant, safe environment. The availability of owner-supplied bicycles was well appreciated and made our discovery of the Island and its local attractions a most enjoyable daily ritual. The proximity to the local beaches and short car (or bike) ride to fabulous restaurants made it painless to explore the area for new finds. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini-vacation on St. Simons Island and strongly recommend Coquina Cottage. We would definitely stay there again!

Me and my family (husband, and 3 boys, 15-13-and5) had a great time on our vacation in St. Simons and at this home. The home was beautiful, spacious, clean, updated, and had everything you need for the week aqnd beach. My home is spacious and open, yet can be private in the rooms. Dooly was great and provided good customer service. My children enjoyed the boogie boards,and bikes. Thier are several stores close, a pool, attractions, and the beach right around the corner. The house was located on a private road without much traffic, which was great with a little one. The beaches were clean and my kids loved to go at high tide when the waves were rolling in. I would recommend this home to anyone that wants to enjoy a family vacation close to the beach. It is a beautifully weel kept home that comes with just about everything you need. Very family friendly. Thank you Dolly for allowing me and my family to enjoy our vacation. We will definitly look forward to visiting your home again in the future. Stephanie
