Nestled in the foothills behind Garden of the Gods, Cedar Heights is a 24/7 guarded, gated community. This custom 3 story home has unsurpassed city and mountain views. Landscaping features a 40’x 60’ Pond with walkways, parking for an additional 6 vehicles, Xeriscaped flower beds with automatic drip irrigation system. Gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, cherry cabinetry, Thermodore range, double ovens, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher and Franken stainless steel sink with brass faucet.
Elegant,vaulted formal living and formal dining. Three bedroom suites with guest bedroom. Third floor master suite with 5-piece bath and his and hers walk-in closets, sitting areas, 13’ x 20’ balcony with a nursery adjoining. Garden level features a 20’ x 33’ family room, plus a 12’ x 24’ pool table room with full bar, including brass sink, dishwasher and refrigerator. Home theatre and home office complete the first floor. A deck extend across the back of the house, wrapping around to the east to provide outside dining area with gas grill. Wedding receptions, etc are not allowed as my home is not a licensed event center. I also do not have a liquor license. Parties are limited to 50 people and those staying overnight can be no more that five unrelated people according to city code.

- Off Street Parking : Only during daylight hours because there are no street lights in Cedar Heights and the winding roads prohibit parking on the streets after dark.
- Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer : There are three parking spaces by the garage. One is long enough for an RV; however, due to limited space, turning around to head down the driveway is not easy. It would be best to park the RV in the area near the pond.

The time was outstanding for our family. The porch and play areas were excellent for the children. We enjoyed eating outside on the balcony with the beauty all around us. We had questions for the owner concerning putting out the garbage and fixing door handles. It's an excellent location for many activities nearby i.e. Flying W, Garden of the Gods, etc. The family thoroughly enjoyed the facility and all wanted to return to Colorado.
Owner response:There was new instructions for the trash because a bear had visited a neighboring home, so the trash was kept in the laundry room with it being pick up every other day. The previous tenant had broken a door handle and not reported it, so I was unaware of the situation until the phone call. The door handle was immediately replaced.

I absolutely recommend any family, group, girls getaway, and even guys getaway for this particular rental. My family and I had the absolute pleasure of staying in this beautifully decorated, spacious, yet cozy home. Our group included 11 adults and 2 children 12yrs and under, and it could have easily accommodated 5 more people. There was plenty of room to move around, plenty of games provided, along with a standing football game, and pool table. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials, and roomy enough for all the women to pitch in and prepare meals. I also appreciated having linen laid out in each room, and there was plenty of additional linen if needed. The view from practically every area in the house that had a window was spectacular. An added treat to this fabulous house was the heated floors, when you forgot to put on shoes. The gated community made you feel completely safe and the deer that frequent the property, gracefully keep to themselves in their own element. Another plus for this property is the location. Just minutes from Garden of the Gods, and Seven Falls. The owner was easily accessible, helpful in giving information on attractions in the area and any other needs we may have had. Since our return back home everyone that went, comments on our wonderful and fantastic Christmas, what a fabulous time we had, and how AWESOME the house we stayed in was. The only small disappointment was no snow in Manitou when we were there, but hey what can you do about Mother Nature! ( Snow did come the Friday after we left on Wed) :)

We rented this home for our family during the 2010 USAFA graduation. It is a beautiful home located next to Garden of the Gods. Amazingly the drive to the Academy took about 20 minutes from the house. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for 10 people. It was even a wonderful place to host a catered reception after the graduation. I would highly recommend this home!
