Casa Verde is a unique brand new luxury home built on Fitch Mountain overlooking the vineyard valleys and hills of the surrounding area. It is truly walking distance to town, about 1 1/2 miles, but also only a five minute drive. We are at road's end with the privacy of country property yet so close to amenities. Both sunrise and sunset are spectacular. The pool and spa are integral with the pool providing a great place to cool off after the hot relaxing spa. From the spa and pool there is a terrific vineyard, valley, mountain and sky views. Yes, you can actually see a sky full of stars on a clear night!
This eco-friendly home features a photovoltaic solar electric system, solar spa heating, efficient heating and cooling, bamboo floors and many other "green" building elements. The owners strive for a zero carbon footprint which will appeal to eco-conscious guests.
From the carport, enter the elevator and go down one floor to the entry of the single level home. (And, yes, you can take the stairway instead.) The home is custom designed and has many features such as soaring ceilings, open floor plan in the great room, bamboo floors in public spaces, carpet in bedrooms, tile bathrooms, warm floor in master bath, stainless steel appliances, granite island and a professional Blue Star range in the kitchen, a 42" HDTV and surround music system, outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ, and views from every room!
Casa Verde is meant for the quiet enjoyment of just those included in the rental agreement. This is in keeping with the spirit of our neighborhood. We do not allow parties or events of any type.

Why the Owner Chose Healdsburg
We have been building, remodeling, buying and selling, and developing real property for over 30 years. We designed and built this home and it was finished in 2008 and is located on the southwest side of Fitch Mountain. A very unique location for its proximity to the quaint and historic square of downtown Healdsburg and for its rural site where wildlife abounds. Birds are abundant from hummers to osprey. Small animals like squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, squnks and deer are often seen. Once in a while we see a fox, bob cat and rarely a mountain lion. The Russian River wraps around Fitch Mountain and at the riverbank you can see ducks, geese, herons and sometimes river otter. Its a wonderland waiting for you to observe.

What a beautiful home! Everything is very new. The house is well stocked..not like some rentals where you can only find one dull steak knife and a beat up old pan. The property has a great view. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds fly. The spa was so nice. Plus, this house is only a short drive to downtown Healdsburg. We will be back.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway.
