If you are searching for a classic and comfortable Tahoe vacation, then look no further. Our home is a 1950s Tahoe cabin that blends authentic old world charm with a healthy dose of modern amenities. The home is centrally located on Tahoe's north shore and is roughly 12 miles from Northstar, Squaw, and Alpine. In the summers, guests have access to an HOA beach with pier, picnic tables, and BBQ area just five minutes walking distance from the house. Beach chairs, towels, toys, and an umbrella are available for guests.
The house features a remodeled master suite upstairs, a remodeled and well-equipped kitchen (including wine fridge), and two more bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. There are two decks to soak up the sun in the summer, complete with patio furniture, a hot tub, and a gas BBQ. In the winter, snuggle up by the fireplace, soak in the hot tub or gather around the dining table for games.
Our home is fully equipped with linens, bath towels equal to the maximum occupancy of the house, computer with free high speed wireless Internet, cable TV, hot tub, beach towels, pots/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee maker, games & DVDs, washer & dryer, and dishwasher.

If you have ever visited Lake Tahoe, the answer to this question should be self-evident. Tahoe, we think, offers the perfect blend of unblemished wilderness and measured development. Fantastic area for winter and summer recreation, or just relaxing and taking a break from the stresses and strains of everyday life.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Even when we toured the property, and certainly now as owners, our home really feels like home. And we think that guests will have that same feeling. We have rented many homes in Tahoe, and that is the one element that has been missing: we have always felt like intruders in some way, which of course interferes with the ability to relax and enjoy the vacation. We have really tried to make our home one in which we, and visitors, can quickly forget that they are staying somewhere other than what they are accustomed to. Our home is, all at once, comfortable and broken in. No need is unmet, and there is no feeling like one must walk on eggshells to avoid damaging a pristine environment.

It has been our dream for some time to own a second home that our family can return to year after year, and we were fortunate enough to turn this dream into reality.
