Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Having been privileged to travel extensively throughout the United States and much of the world, we found Durango to be the BEST place we could choose to live in. Because we keep traveling in our motor home etc, our lovely home is available for guests to rent while we are out adventuring further.
The Unique Benefits at this House
In this day and age, natural beauty and the privacy to enjoy it without intrusion is a rare benefit amply provided by our beautiful mountain home.
Owner's Map of Private Homes
Both musicians, and retired CEO (Daniel) and Lawyer (Polly) have a great love of the outdoors and adventure. They have chosen Durango as the place they most wanted to live in, and continue their adventures in the great mountain west and around the globe.

We are two couples from the UK who spent a fabulous 8 days in Dan & Pollys home during Sept-09. We are fortunate to have travelled to many parts of the world (must pack more in !!), normally using vacation homes as a base. This home did not disappoint, it ticked all the boxes. Read the description of this home, it truly reflects what you will get. It is firstly their home with all the comfort and facilities you would expect in a home and much, much more. While they continue their passion for travelling you will have the opportunity to have an amazing base for a fabulous vacation. Chill out on the deck, soak up in the hot-tub ( great after a long day), barbeque or just enjoy a glass or two under a wonderful night sky. If like us you do your planning on what to do or see on your trip, there is so much on offer within easy reach, I highly recommend you bounce it off Dan & Polly. These guys have a passion for this region, they refined our plans with their personal recommendations. We only scratched the surface on what to see and do but what we did was a great experience, in a wonderful part of the world, thanks to their advice. We highly recommend this home. My husband and I stayed here for about a week during the summer of 2009 and it was PERFECT! The home was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the view from the hot-tub was beautiful. The owners were very personable and easy to get in touch with via email or a phone call. We will certainly stay here again!
