The Mountain View is a two story, three bedroom, two bath private vacation home on Grime's Creek.
Also on this partially wooded acre is a one bedroom cottage that can only be rented along with the main house. Both are fully equipped and ready for you to move in.
The property is two miles north of scenic Vallecito Lake. Vallecito is a Hispanic word meaning Little Valley and is pronounced vi-yeh-SEE-toe. Vallecito Lake is the nearest resort area to Durango, Colorado. The 24 mile drive to Durango is over scenic paved county roads. All this is located in Southwestern Colorado - a premier vacation destination.
There are a number of activities and sites to keep you busy here in the valley. And after a short drive there is even more to do - you can fly fish for trophy trout on the renowned San Juan river, experience a rafting trip down the Animas river, ride the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge railroad, explore the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde National Park – the possibilities are endless! Of course you could just kick back and indulge your senses in the cool mountain air. Recline on the deck, relax in a lawn chair, sit under the trees, beside an evening campfire, and listen to the water flowing in the creek.
A number of small critters frequent the area, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, lots of birds and skunks! At times the occasional larger species may be seen - deer, elk and if you're real lucky a bear. The perfect summertime climate, in the perfect setting.

$200/night .. $1330/week.
5 Night Minimum from Memorial Day-Labor Day.
Rates are for up to 4 guests. For additional guests, add $10/night each.
Rate for 1 BR Cottage: $80/night .. $530/week for up to 2 guests.
Children 3 and under do not count in total number of guests.
Deposit: 50% due within 10 days of making reservation. Check preferred.
Balance due upon arrival. Cleaning fees: $80/house .. $30/cottage.
Off season rates available, please contact us. Tax rate is 6.8%.
