As a young family living here on Maui we understand your desire to experience paradise on a budget.
Spend your vacation in the spacious fully equipped "Bamboo suite" on our beautiful 2 acre property which boasts spectacular ocean views of the North Shore, West Maui Mountains and Kahului's city lights by night.
The suite has two large bedrooms with a King and two Twin beds, the living, dining and kitchen are all an open floor plan which provides plenty of space.
All linens are provided - including beach towels. There is free wireless internet, basic cable TV, DVD player and fully equipped kitchen - no oven or dishwasher. We have a shared washer/dryer so no need to over pack, we also have a BBQ area which is charmingly lit by fairy lights at night, there is plenty of parking and storage for those of you who are here to play. An iron, ironing board, vacuum and light cleaning supplies are also available as well as a hairdryer and Twin memory foam roll away bed available on request.
The lifestyle is relaxed here in up country Haiku, we are perfectly located a 5 min drive from both Haiku and Makawao towns where you will find local grocery stores, cafe's, restaurants, boutiques, galleries, pharmacies and nightlife.
The closest beach, Ho'okipa, and beach side town, Paia are both a short 15 min drive down the hill.
There is much to see and do on the North Shore of Maui. Whether you're here to surf, windsurf, kite surf, hike, bike, shop, dine or simply relax one day at a time.

I recently stayed in the Bamboo suite at Stones Place in Maui. We had a wonderful stay, and i highly recommend staying here. We would definitely stay here again. The apartment was spacious, clean and bright. It was not overly luxurious, but it had everything we needed. The apartment was fully furnished and stocked. It came with light cleaning supplies and toiletries to get us started. The view from the porch was amazing, you can see the water from your windows. I felt very at home. This rental gave us a feeling of living on the island, as opposed to the feeling of being a tourist staying in a big hotel down on the beach. We were slightly hesitant about staying 15 minutes from the beach, however the drive through the scenic countryside quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. Who wouldn't love a drive through the country roads of Maui, with the sun on your face, and the tropical winds blowing through the sugar cane fields and through your windows. The rental is on a quiet space of land, where all you can hear at night are the geckos on the porch and the roosters in the distance. The property owner was very helpful, and very kind.
