  3 friends and I rented Mountain Bliss for a girls getaway weekend and had an absolutely incredible time! As soon as we walked into the condo we were overwhelmed with how beautiful it was and clean! The condo was spotless and perfectly decorated, it was so cozy and made us feel at home. There was a nice book set up with tourist information regarding lake placid including where to wine and dine. The condo is in a perfect location as it is tucked away in a quiet area of town and nestled among some trees, however it still close enough to the shops and restaurants, as well there is a little corner store within walking distance for any last minute items needed. We definitely enjoyed our stay and found the booking process with the owners to be very easy and enjoyable! We definitely plan to rent Mountain Bliss again!

  We thouroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at this home. It was clean, had all the amenities necessary including many start up items such as dishsoap, papertowels, handsoap, spices..... It is close to the village and has a secret play room downstairs that my kids liked to call their own.. Would definately stay again.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Our group of eight, two families of four, arrived at the townhouse and found it to be exactly as it appears in the photos. Spotlessly clean, upscale linens and finishes and in a very peaceful location which was surprising as it is walking distance to many great restaurants etc. Spacious, light and well equipped for short and long stays. Dealing with Amanda and Brian was simple and well organised, they were very professional and had lots of information in the townhouse too. We loved our visit to Lake Placid, skiing, bobsledding, museums and dining were our main goals. We also loved sitting in the townhouse enjoying wine and cheese and looking at the great photos on the walls. We will be back.

  Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Bliss in Lake Placid. With 2 teenagers, we had plenty of room and bathrooms!!! The place is very well located with all the amenities, and was very clean. As soon as you step in, you feel at home. Lake Placid is a beautiful town that had kept its Olympic spirit, with so many sites to enjoy or to visit. We will come back to Lake Placid and will stay again at Mountain Bliss!!

  This was such a welcome escape form the everyday routine. Great weather, wonderful friends & super skiing made for an enjoyable & relaxing weekend. Thanks for the wonderful break.

  We had a wonderful stay at your place. It was so cozy & inviting. We watched our nephew & partner win the 2011 Gold Medal in the Junior National Luge Competition - woo hoo! Thanks for providing such a wonderful place.

  We had a wonderful weekend in Lake Placid. Your home is beautiful. My husband is a great photographer and admired all of the photographs. If you knew him you would know that this is high praise, indeed. We originally planned to go out to dinner on Saturday night, but everyone decided that they would rather stay in, enjoying a meal in your beautiful home... Thank you very much for opening your home to us.

  We loved the place and had a great weekend of skiing at Whiteface (8" of fresh powder always helps), visiting the ice castle in Saranac Lake w/ the kids & loving nice dinner at the Cottage & the Lake Placid Pub & Brewery.
