We had a wonderful stay at your home during our recent Spring Break trip. We have been coming to Wild Dunes for several years and found the location of this property to be the best yet! The house was clean, well-stocked and charming and the surrounding vegetation and palmetto trees really added to the ambiance of the home. Paul, the property manager, was extremely accommodating and having linens, cleaning supplies, hand soap, etc. supplied was a nice touch. Loved having the beach and boardwalk pool so close. Would definitely come back. The Humphreys and Davis Families. Richmond, VARecommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We loved your house. My husband has been coming to Charleston his entire life and I have been coming with him to Wild Dunes the past 14 years. Let me just say that this is one of the best places we have stayed. Your house in great condition, very comfortable, clean, with TV's and internet that work. That is a big plus considering many times the electronics have had issues in other places. We were also pleasantly suprised that Paul the manager greeted us. He was extremely helpful and just a minute a way if we had any questions. He made sure that everything was up and running for our arrival. Oh! and that master bedroom...Fantastic. Our kids enjoyed the grassy area out back and the adults enjoyed the porches. I really enjoyed the view and the sounds of the beach from the upper porch. Thank you and we look forward to booking another trip with you. The Nadels Tampa. Enjoyed a chilly but fun week as we gathered together for Frank and Jenny's wedding on 3/24 in downtown Charleston. Had stayed in your home before and loved it. The house is so cozy, comfortable and big enough to accommodate all who stopped by for pre-wedding parties. We will be back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a lot of fun. Our favorite this was playing capture the flag in the yard. The beach was a lot of fun. On the last day we went parasailing. We dug holes in the sand and played in the pools. At night we all enjoyed going to the pavilion to sing and dance. Overall, this place rocks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2002
About the owner: We are originally from Indiana, and moved to Charlotte, NC in 1982. We have two adult children who were born and raised in Charlotte. We fell in love with the Carolinas on our first visit to the coast. We enjoy sharing this beautiful part of our country - as well as southern hospitality and the relaxed lifestyle it embodies - with our guests!
Why the Owner Chose Grand Pavilion:
We vacationed at Wild Dunes for over 20 years. This part of SC is very relaxed and welcoming. The people are friendly and considerate. We love the easy access to the Interstates and the many attractions. Charleston is historic and grand, the island feels very tropical and relaxing, and in between is Mt. Pleasant. This eclectic city has much to offer - historic Patriot's Point, golf courses, plantations, fishing boats and restaurants at Shem Creek, as well as the same convenience shopping that you find at home. Your favorite pharmacy, grocery store and general shopping stores are likely to be found within a 10 minute drive from the island. You never need to worry about what you forgot - you can find whatever you need in a very short drive, minimizing time away from the beach.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love to relax on the porches or take a walk on the beach. The beach of course is also a great place to sit and play. It is wonderful to get away from it all to do just nothing - or catch up on reading - or even work on the laptop. Some of us enjoy fishing, crabbing and golf. We especially enjoy dining out in the area. There are so many wonderful restaurants between the IOP, Mt Pleasant, Sullivan's Island and Charleston. Our daughter loves to shop in Charleston (OK - our daughter loves to shop everywhere!) But Charleston is a fun place to shop - there are a variety of local and national shops, as well as the historic Charleston Market. Patriots Point and the boat trip from there to Ft Sumpter is fun and the fort tour is a good history lesson. The first shot of the civil war was fired there. The truth is, we always plan to do more, but we get very comfortable and often find that it's hard to leave this special house by the sea!
