LOCATION
This property is located an ideal distance from the University of Washington and all its sport facilities (just blocks), Downtown Seattle (just moments by car, cab, or bus), and near countless other activities and points of interests. Right on the border between the University District and Ravenna neighborhoods, there are countless restaurants, bars, shops, movie theaters, museums, coffeehouses, and places to participate in outdoor activities mere moments from stepping out the apartment's door. A bus stop to take you downtown is but a block away so whether you want to explore by foot or a bit further afield, the apartment is a perfect place to begin and return at day's end.
SLEEPING
Rest comfortably and peacefully in one of two delightfully detailed bedrooms. Each bedroom is newly decorated with deluxe queen size mattresses along with 300-thread count queen-size pillows, 380-thread count hotel fine linens, & 310-count down comforters, topped with beautiful duvets. In each large closet there are two spa quality robes hanging for your comfort and enjoyment. By each bed sits an alarm clock with iPod dock and charger to play your favorite music or charge your phone. A queen-sized air mattress is also available for up to two additional guests with cotton sheets, 400 thread count pillows, a sage comforter, and an automatic air pump.
THE KITCHEN
The apartment's fully appointed kitchen includes a four-burner gas range and oven, a Kenmore fridge & freezer with automatic ice maker, and a Kenmore dishwasher. Beautiful red leather bar stools provide seating for four along the breakfast bar. The kitchen also features white wooden cabinets, a new microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker with complimentary Starbucks French Roast beans for your enjoyment.
THE LIVING ROOM
All new furnishings adorn the living room. Modern meets grace and comfort as you stretch out or cuddle up on the luxe cushioned couch. A gas fireplace fills the room with warmth and soft light in the evening. Hundreds of channels are available on the VIZIO HDTV - including numerous premium movie channels. If nothing is on TV to your liking, you may choose from the available diverse variety of DVDs & Blu-Rays that are provided for your enjoyment in the living room on the Sony Blu-Ray player. You may also enjoy simply playing a CD or listening to one of the many music channels as you read a book while comfortably seated on a leather chair, plush blanket over your lap, and feet up on a leather ottoman.
THE BATHROOM
A full bathroom provides Hotel Fine towels, a Spa Collection soft bath mat, hair dryer, complimentary shampoo and conditioner, Neutrogena Rainbath body wash, and wonderful shower/bath combination.

We stayed with Andrew and Heidi for 8 nights at the end of April. We enjoyed our stay and Andrew and Heidi were so accomodating and prompt with everything we needed. They are wonderful hosts! The apartment is well furnished and comfortable. A playpen was provided for us and set up upon our arrival for our son. The home is quiet and has gorgeous views of the city. The area is bustling and has plenty to see and do. The location and proximity to downtown and some major tourist attractions is great. In rush hour it only took us about 15-20 mintues to get home! Parking on the street is difficult to find; however, we always managed to find a spot, though we had to walk a few blocks at times. We would definitely stay here again and would love to one day return to Seattle! Thank you Andrew and Heidi for a wonderful vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 young children) really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful valley views to the snow-capped mountains beyond. The apartment was well-presented and very warm and comfortable, and we found Andrew and Heidi really great to deal with. The location was within easy walking distance to the University of Washington, and we found lots of good options for eating out nearby. The Woodland Park Zoo was also a short drive away. We'd recommend this property without reservation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We could not have chosen and better place and person to stay with. The apartment exceeded all our expectations. Andrew and Heidi were both awesome people as well..Thank you for sharing us your space , that has been very well kept, organized with everything from maps, to an umbrella to shopping bags...Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

When we arrived from our 14 hour flight from Australia to LAX then nearly 3 hours to Seattle it was such a relief to find the place that we had booked over the internet looked exactly the same. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your unit for the five weeks that we were in Seattle visiting our son who is studying at Seattle Pacific University. Your well stocked unit the settling in very easy. The views to the snow capped mountains in the distance were spectacular to wake up to. The fireplace was a lovely way to relax each night after our days of sightseeing and the cold weather didn't bother us while we were inside as the unit was centrally heated. The closeness of the University Village Shopping Centre and downtown as well as Seattle Pacific University made it central for us to get to these places. About the owner: Heidi is a current law student and I am a local attorney. We both hold a special place in our heart for the University District as we are both University of Washington alumni and are lifelong Husky fans. We love the energy and diversity of the people and activities the University District shares with all those who visit. Whether it is shopping and strolling through the University Village or along University Way, having a picnic under the cherry blossoms in the University of Washington campus quad, browsing the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings, taking a canoe through the arboretum on Lake Washington on a beautiful summer day, or just sitting and relaxing at one of countless local cafes - there is always something to do, to taste, and always another reason to live and stay in the University District.
