Bellanina Guest House On-the-Park is an extension of Bellanina Day Spa, a comfortable and convenient home away from home decorated by Bellanina Day Spa founder, Nina Howard. Aside from being located right on Virginia Park in the glorious Old West Side (literally step off your patio onto the park), it is a bright, sunny duplex apartment with views on all four sides of the first floor apartment. It is modern, spacious, clean, with contemporary furnishings including high quality Egyptian cotton bedding and down comforters, original modern art throughout, a spacious bathroom with two sinks and a good sized kitchen and bar with all the amenities you need to prepare a gourmet meal. The patio has a table and seating as well as a gas grill; inside TV/BluRay DVD and Stereo. Bellanina Day Spa offers a free steam shower with massage or skin care Tuesday thru Thursday. The Spa is one mile away! The bus stops right outside your door on Liberty (to State St). Convenient, comfortable and quiet.
Park Setting: Enjoy Ann Arbor's Virginia Park just outside your door (literally step off the patio and you are in the park)! If you have children there are swings, slides, jungle gyms, a softball field, a basketball court and plenty of space to just run and play in the grass! Your patio has a large gas grill and a small table and chairs to enjoy people watching or just being out in the fresh open air.

Very clean, well equipped and comfortably furnished. The adjacent park is a great feature. Everything was as promised, and the owner was extremely responsive to our questions. This is an area of Ann Arbor we weren't familiar with, and we were pleasantly surprised at the combination of a tranquil neighborhood with very quick access to downtown and the Umich central campus. The guest house is in a great location. Only about 1-1/2 from the stadium, which is actually a pretty easy walk through a nice neighborhood and then a short walk through town. Lots of bars & restaurants to stop in on the way to and from the game. Very well maintianed house with lots of little extras. I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

About the owner: My life is ruled by my 4 1/2 pound dog, a Chinese Imperial named Ling-Ling. When I am not playing with her, I play at my other jobs; co-owner and founder of Bellanina Day Spa (409N 4th Ave - Ann Arbor www.bellanina.com) and teaching spa services trainings around the country for Bellanina Institute, managing these properties and painting modern art in my art studio down in the Smokies of North Carolina. I love my life!
Why the Owner Chose Ann Arbor:
When I sold my house in 2010, I needed a temporary space to 'park it' until I moved into my existing house. I rented this apartment and absolutely loved it. When I moved out, the landlord graciously allowed me to keep it intact as another Bellanina Vacation Rental.
