  The condo was perfect for us. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very well furnished, clean, and well maintained although an upgrade to the TV should be considered. We would definately recommend dinner at Harry's. It's a bit pricey but the food is fabulous. Also be sure to check-out their deli - great soup!! We would certainly recommend this property to those who are looking for a quiet location right on the beach.

  This unit is on the top (2nd) floor on the end of the building. Very quiet with an excellent view of the ocean from the screened in deck. The unit does have WiFi, but I was only able to get the signal in the bedroom using my iPad and iPhone. But the beach is so great that the WiFi access wasn't a top priority! There are lounge chairs provided on the beach, so no need to drag chairs down there. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with all we needed for our stay. There are 2 TVs, but we didn't even turn them on. Just a short walk (north) down the road is a small shopping center with a great breakfast place, The Blue Dolphin Cafe I think is the name of it. One night we got a carryout pizza from the Italian restaurant in the same shopping center (I can't remember the name of that place, sorry.) The pizza was very good! Just north of the shopping center is a very nice park if you like bird watching. We saw Hawks, Spoonbills, Ibis, and Woodpeckers to name a few! There is also a small grocery store nearby that had a great selection of easy to prepare items. The caretaker lives nearby and is great at answering questions! I would highly recommend this unit and would love to return some day.

• Quiet oasis

  My husband and I stayed here with our 7 month old son. The apartment was the perfect size for us and the view was amazing.It was so nice to be able to cook homemade meals while on vacation since this place has a fully furnished kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was immaculate. I'd like to hire their maid for my own home. The heated pool was great for my son, and the grounds are gorgeous. Great place for a vacation to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. We already booked to return next year.

  My husband and I recently returned from a delightful stay at The Outrigger Resort on beautiful Longboat Key. The unit was completely comfortabl for 2 people, very clean and well equipped. It has a fabulous view of the Gulf of Mexico and is just a few steps from the beach. The resort is small with only 10 units which makes it quiet and relaxing. The pool is never crowded. There are numerous fine shops & restaurants either in walking distance or a short drive away. We met several people who said they had been coming every year for a long time. I think we will be making this an annual trip too. It is truly a little slice of heaven!
