Our family of 5, plus our dog, enjoyed staying at this cottage during our spring break getaway. The place is small (for 5), but laid out conveniently to be very comfortable. Beach was only steps away. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and serving. We were only minutes drive to all the places we wanted to visit - Jockey's Ridge, Jennette's Pier, Bodie Light House, and the Wright Brother's Memorial. The owner's were incredibly hospitable and kind to our children and dog! They made it feel like home. If you like the feel of a classic beach cottage with a 50's type era feel, this is a great choice for the rate.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing.

This cottage was perfect for an off-season weekend getaway with the family including your pet. The rental process was simple and straightforward and the owner could not have been more gracious and accomodating including providing a welcome package of essentials and pet treats. The cottage has superb beach access and is centrally located to stores, restuarants, and local attractions. Given it's proximity to US-64 there is easy access from the rest of the state. I would definitely return for another getaway weekend.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing.

This was truly a great experience for us. Small cozy and very clean cottage at an awesome location, so close to the beach and walking distance to a great restaurant. Not far from the Nags Head Pier, just a walk up the beach! The owners were great! We definitely plan to return. I would certainly recommend this property :)Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
