This 3200 sq. ft.newly renovated Craftman home with ocean views sits across the street from a small park, perfect for Frisbee throwing and bocce ball tournaments. It's roof top deck is a fabulous spot enjoy the beautiful Pacific Coast summer sunsets.
Guests will enter through the front foyer and living room overlooking the park and ocean views, However, you may choose to enter through one of the 2 sets of French doors off the driveway and side patio, making a B-line to the kitchen and main living area. We have lots of outdoor fun goodies for you to use: beach chairs, boogie boards, boccie ball, beach towels, …etc.. for your week of beach fun!
While the kitchen is fully equipped with Viking appliances, Kitchen Aid Mixer, Blender, Food processor and everything you need if you would decide to cook. But with so many restaurants and bars within blocks of you, dare we say…the kitchen may go untouched!
The home has 3 bedrooms, and an ocean view office with a comfy pull out sofa and adjoining sitting area with a lounging settee for your Beach vacation reads.
The huge upstairs master bedroom has vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace and 3 sets of French doors that open up to a deck with ocean views. The amenities include a grey marble bathroom with bathtub, shower, and double sinks.
There are 2 bedrooms downstairs – One has a queen bed and the other, an oversized twin. (If needed, can be replaced with Full). These rooms share one bathroom with double sinks , a shower/ tub combo. There is an additional powder room downstairs as well.
The well equipped kitchen offers granite countertops and Viking appliances. The adjoining family room provides comfortable seating for six guests, 46' flat screen TV, and 2 sets of French doors that open up into the an enclosed patio with fireplace
This home includes 2 flatscreen TV’s, WIFI, DVD player, IPOD dock, telephone and answering machine for local calls, printer, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, highchairs,and all linens (sheets, blankets ,pillows, bath towels and beach towels)

We wanted the owners to know that we loved your amazing home! It was perfect for our families! The wedding was beautiful and we enjoyed being able to visit with family and friends at your house. It's the perfect location to enjoy all that La Jolla offers. We're so glad that the first house we were supposed to say at had a last minute issue that allowed us to find your wonderful home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

This house is just perfect in so many ways! It is beautifully decorated with such a touch that makes you feel right at home. You just want to sink into the couch and relax. The gardens are a masterpiece and you can hear the fountains from the family room. You are in the most convenient location of La Jolla. We walked to dinner each night and shopping is not far, either. The bedrooms were perfect for our family of 5. Each one of us had our own space that fit us perfectly. The owner is so sweet and makes you feel welcome in her home. I liked the personal touch and felt honored to stay at her house. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her home! I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to get away in the most relaxing of places. It is truly a gem of La Jolla! We will most definitely be back!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Mike and Debbie are retired and loving life in La Jolla. They love their Park Row home and rarely use their car. You can see them every Sunday walking home laden with flowers, treasures and organic goodies from the La Jolla Farmer's market. Mike is an avid golfer, and Debbie is a fitness enthusiast. With tennis courts and The La Jolla Sport Club 3 blocks from her home, she takes tennis lessons and classes in Pilates, Yoga, dance, and Ocean Boot camp that keep her in great shape. They spend most every evening taking in the sunset along the 3 mile ocean walk which starts 1 block from their home, enjoying the sunset and one of the most beautiful settings in the world. They spend part of summer in upstate New York near daughter's family and grandbaby Twin toddlers! Other passions...their church.. La Jolla Community Church, exploring San Diego, its vistas, it's charm and it's never ending list of things to experience.

We loved this Historic Mill's Act home, with over 3,200 square feet of charm! BUT WHAT REALLY SOLD US IS:
1)THE CLIFF AND OCEAN PATH 2 BLOCKS FROM OUR HOUSE THAT TAKES OUR BREATH AWAY. We always see lovers cozying in the benches, toasting to the sunset. A little further down, we visit our Sea Lion neighbors, and a bit further down, we check out the Seals lounging at the Children's Pool.
