  Excellent home to rent whether for the weekend or for a week. Easily sleeps 6 . Two bathrooms made it enjoyable. The back porch and yard added to the overall enjoyment. There were Horseshoes, washers and other outdoor games available. Easy access to the dock and the boat launch was around the corner. Pictures provided and true picture of what was available. Owner was very helpful and provided accurate information Property was extremely well maintained and clean. Easy access to the river and Lake LBJ but the cove provided a quiet area and ta buffer to the noise coming from the Colorado river. Highly recommended for families with children of all ages. Lots to do and see in the immediate area but a great place to relax. Motor boats , Kayaks and canoes are easily launched and secured.

  Our family enjoyed our stay at Lola Bug's Lake House. Although there were some initial issues, Amy was so wonderful and took care of everything right away. We loved the comfort and easy atmosphere of the house and the wonderful back patio and lake access. Our Shitzu, Frodo, absolutely love being able to wander freely and being able to hang our at the bulkhead. Although we live on Lake Livingston, we do not have a lakefront lot...I think he prefers Lola Bug's to home. Thanks for the great memoreis!!!

  so happy to have found this vacation spot. it's our second visit in the last 6 ms. dogs loved the birds and we loved watching them chase birds. i loved having a washer and dryer. husband loved back porch with covered top. it was good during rain storm. your house is perfect for our vacation. next time we will bring grand kids. your neighbors with yellow cabin are really friendly. wish next time we visit we could bring more grandkids? thank you for the vacation. it was great. we will beback when we can do it again. lilly dixon, san antionio, tx

  My wife, son, parents and I stayed for a Spring Break vacation and couldn't have been more pleased. What a beautiful spot on the lake! Big section of private waterfront. It was a little cold to swim, but during the summer it would be perfect. We fished all weekend and only caught two tiny Largemouth, but that has more to do with me being a poor fisherman than there not being any fish. The house is in a cove off the main waterway so it's not as loud or crowded as other places in the area you could stay in. Close to the best State parks, shopping and sightseeing the Hill Country has to offer. Beautifully kept backyard with hammock, grille and big firepit. Big outdoor patio with stereo system made our barbecue a lot of fun. The house itself was clean and well kept with all the comforts of home. We will definitely be back to Lola Bug's!

  My husband and I having been renting vacation homes for over 20 years, usually about 2 times a year. This house is on the top of my list as far as being comfortable CLEAN and well maintained. The porch and the view down to the water is very tranquil. If you like watching birds, you will see blue jays, cardinals, tufted titmice, wrens, peacocks, ducks, and cranes frequently. We usually prepare most of our meals in the vacation rental, and this kitchen is large and very well equipped - just like the pictures show. There are two towns nearby, Kingsland is 10 minutes away which has a HEB and a few restaurants. Burnet is about 20 minutes away and also has an HEB and plenty of restaurants. If you like hiking or picnicking there is a Texas State Park about 20 minutes away called Inks Lake State Park. This park is dog-friendly, bring along a lease. Cost was $6 per adult, unless you have a Texas State Park annual pass. Our dog really enjoyed the afternoon sunshine, since the back yard is facing west & we enjoyed being able to bring him along on our mini-vacation. Amy is very responsive to any questions you may have.

  We highly recommend this vacation spot. The owners let us check in several hours early and were prompt in answering all of our emails when setting up the weekend stay. We enjoyed the fire pit on the cool winter nights and had some much needed R&R. I appreciated the large kitchen that had every utensil and cooking item I needed. The beds are comfortable and the entire home is very accommodating. We were thankful to bring Taco, our little Chuhahua. He enjoyed sitting by the water with my husband while he fished. I enjoyed reading on the hamock and listening to the ducks and trees blow in the wind. We are planning another trip this fall and hope to bring our grandchildren next time.

  We came to this property wanting a relaxing break from Austin and the holidays and boy did we find it! The house was so comfortable AND clean/fresh - especially the kitchen and baths (my biggest prerequisites) - and the sunsets out of this world as viewed from the great extra large covered patio. The description in the listing was exact, but to actually be out there and watch the wildlife on the water and the quietness of the cove area itself is indescribable. I would definitely recommend it and plan to come again, often!

  This little house was cozy and felt just like home, without all the chores. We found it be clean and comfy. They have everything you need. We enjoyed fishing and boating during the day and smores around the firepit at night. I highly recommend this home for a getaway and plan to stay there again soon.

  Very very clean. The pictures here on this website are exactly how the house is! Located on a quiet cove. The best part, our dog was allowed to come! We will be back........

Cancellation policy:

Please download and read our Rental Agreement. We ask that renters agree to all the rules. Weekly trash pick up is early Wednesday mornings, so please put trash out on Tuesday evenings. Please take all trash to dumpsters by curb. Please make sure bins have rocks placed on their lids so animals don't disrupt. Weekly lawn service is provided on Monday's. Our crew is efficient and will do their best to disrupt your stay as little as possible. Thank you for staying with us!
