This beach cottage is the perfect vacation home! Just a half block to beach access and boating (canal) access with view of both from the deck. The picture of beach access is taken from the house. One bedroom offers a full bed and the other offers 2 full/twin bunks. The living room features a queen sleeper sofa as well.
The home is beautifully decorated with all of the modern comforts of home including a fully stocked kitchen with new cooking accessories, & utensils, 47”flat screen TV, WIFI, 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom fully stocked with linens. There is parking for two cars and beach house storage offers a washer/dryer and beach gear. The deck offers patio seating and 2 outdoor hot water showers to rinse off from the beach.
This is a wonderful family friendly home. Please no loud music or parties.
The ocean and beach are your playground, but there's lot of other fun things to do just minutes away. The location is just far enough from the crowds but close enough to walk to all of the attractions. Just a few short blocks you can take advantage of charter fishing, restaurants, an amusement filled boardwalk, surf lessons, jet ski rentals, kayak rental. On the island, you can enjoy historic Fort Fisher, the beauty of Kure Beach and the piers, and Carolina Beach State Park, miniature golf and shopping. We are a 15 minute drive into Wilmington where you can take advantage of the beautiful historic area downtown, UNCW, Airlie Gardens, and the historic battleship North Carolina.

I was looking for a last minute weekend getaway for a friend and I. Trying to find a place pet friendly can be a chore but vrbo gave me a chance to locate some possibilities for the dates we had in mind. Some of the homeowners were difficult to get in touch with and since we were looking at the last minute i am grateful we found this place. Craig was very quick to respond and getting the details worked out took almost no time at all. As the other reviewers stated the house is in an ideal place, the neighbors are friendly. A moments walk to the beach or waterway. Restaurants close by. The house is comfortable, well stocked with anything you could need. If i ever head to Carolina Beach again this will definitely be the first place i check for availability.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

My friend and I decided very last minute to go to the beach for the weekend since the weather was going to be in the 70's. it was probably one of the best times I've had at the beach. The house had everything we could ever need, It's so close to the ocean that you can even hear it from the balcony! It's walking distance to restaurants and shops so you don't really need a car. The owner Craig was great and so helpful. He even helped us carry our luggage/bags to the house! Craig recommended a few restaurants and even gave us walking directions! He was awesome to do business with and very friendly! We felt safe and had the best time! We will definitely be back! Thank you Craig for everything, your beach house is awesome! :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Location, Location, Location. The house is literally directly between the canal and the ocean less than a half block from each on a quiet street. It is close to the North End (4x4 beach) and many stores, restaurants and shops. The owner had indicated that the neighbors were "nice" and he was 100% correct. They were very helpful. The house has been recently upgraded with extras, is pleasantly appointed and delightfully decorated. The owner was a pleasure to work with and went out of his way to make the trip carefree. Even though we visited on what seemed like the coldest weekend so far this year, I left feeling like I had been at the beach relaxing. There was plenty of room for a family of four and even had my brother over for dinner one night. I would surely recommend this property to friends and would love to stay here again.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.
