The site is on Monteagle Mountain, the highest point between Chicago and Miami on the south Cumberland Plateau of the Great Smoky Mountains.
The town is located 90 miles east of Nashville, 50 miles from Chattanooga, TN and 170 miles from Atlanta on I-24. It is six miles from the University of the South at Sewanee.
The spacious home is decorated with much original art and local area crafts. The cathedral ceiling living room and the 20 foot by 20 foot den with fireplace are perfect spaces for entertaining, fellowship and corporate retreats or training.
The two loft bedrooms have five twin beds sharing a full bath. The main level master suite features its own bath and French doors to the back deck. The den has a daybed and sleeper sofa and utilizes a large half bath.
There is a modern galley kitchen with all amenities of a "home away from home." The proximity to the University affords intellectual, theatrical, academic, and artistic functions.
The South Cumberland Recreational Park (only five minutes away) gives you thousands of acres of pristine wilderness featuring hiking, rock climbing, wildlife, waterfalls and "ole swimming holes." Breathtaking whitewater rafting on the Ochoe, Nantahala, and Chattuga Rivers is but a two hour drive.
