My home is located near the Holiday Inn section of Ocean Lakes, for more detail, click on the "email owner". If you would like an immediate answer to a question call Alan anytime 7 days a week between 1 PM and 10 PM.
When comparing rates please keep in mind I have no hidden fees, the advertised rate is what you'll pay ... and ... you'll have FREE use of my Golf Cart. (a $340 savings over renting one locally) You will however be responsible for the $5.00 per night per vehicle fee charged and collected by Ocean Lakes
My Big Red Cart is a step up from your standard plain white rental. It sits on a larger set of tires and has a hang bar to place your chairs on for that short ride to the beach.
The living area and all flooring has been upgraded since the pictures were taken. I haven’t taken pictures recently so I'll describe the recent changes. I installed beige carpet throughout the house, (new vinyl flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen) I removed the blinds in the living area and installed blackout curtains that give you privacy in the evening and slide to the side when you’re ready for the sun to shine in. I also bought 2 super comfortable leather rocker recliners to replace the 2 chairs shown in the picture. There is a sofa and coffee table in the living area.
The master bedroom has a Queen Size Bed, the second bedroom has a full size bed and the 3rd bedroom has a set of bunk beds. (both beds have a standard single size mattress). It also has a Queen Size Sofa Sleeper in the living area. It has two full bathrooms, both bathrooms have a full size tub and a shower built into the tub. The first bathroom is off the master bedroom and the second bathroom is between the kitchen and the back bedroom. The front bedroom with Bunk Beds is the only bedroom not attached to a bathroom.
My home has Central Heat and Air Conditioning and a large washer and dryer that’s perfect for washing that load of beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped including a side by side Refrigerator/Freezer, Stove/Oven, Dishwasher, Pots and Pans, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Crock Pot, Blender along with Dishes & Silverware. The TV in the Den has a VCR/DVD player combo and another VCR/DVD player combo attached to a second TV in the master bedroom. It has a Propane Gas Grill. There is enough room to park two vehicles.
During the summer months (April through October) I rent by the week - Saturday to Saturday. November through March you can rent monthly ($595), weekly ($295) or nightly (2-night minimum)($50 a night). Once your reservation is accepted a $200 deposit is needed to hold the reservation. A $400 deposit is needed if anyone 16 to 20 years of age and will be driving the golf cart. After I receive the deposit/payment I'll send you a booklet that I’ve written which will answer most of your questions about my home and Ocean Lakes. The booklet has some helpful hints along with the express check-in form. If you use the express check-in forms to pre-register your vehicles Ocean Lakes will send you the parking pass in the mail. During the busy summer season pre-registering can save you a 30-90 minute wait in line. With the parking pass already in hand you’ll drive by lines and directly into the park.
This is the only vacation home I have, I use it with my family throughout the year. I'm sure you will enjoy staying here as much as we do.
The fine print ........
Ocean Lakes is a family oriented community; I rent to families and responsible adults who fit that category. I do not rent to groups who come to party including but not limited to fraternities, high school or college graduation groups, spring breakers, or other non-family groups.
The Golf Cart is included in the rental so I need to emphasize only licensed drivers 16 years of age and older can drive the golf cart. (15 year old licensed drivers and permit holders cannot drive the carts) Ocean Lakes has a ZERO tolerance policy for golf cart violations and the penalties applied to homeowners Golf Cart. The penalties are extremely harsh (no matter who's driving and the reason why a $400 deposit is needed if anyone under 21 is driving the cart.) .... NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 OR ANYONE WITHOUT A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE CAN SIT IN THE DRIVERS SEAT OF THE GOLF CART AT ANYTIME FOR ANY REASON. Please be sure this is an acceptable rule with everyone in your party.
If anyone under 21 years of age will be driving the cart I need their full name, age and the state the DL was issued. A $400 deposit is needed if anyone in your party is 16 through 20 years old and will be driving the golf cart.
Misrepresentation of your age, the age of anyone in your party or any other information will result in immediate termination of the agreement and you will be evicted without a refund.

I have no complaints with the house itself. Our stay there was nice and our family enjoyed our time there. After several phone calls and emails stating we would receive our deposit back I have yet to receive it. I was told the delay was due to sickness. I've given ample time to have my deposit returned and since this property is still being rented I'm assuming all is well.

Mr. Dame was very accommodating! Our first phone call to our arrival time was all within 3 hours. The place is clean and the golf cart is really nice! The two recliners are a nice addition and the children loved the bunk beds. It is also in a great location. My four-year-old and I walked to the beach.

Two years in a row at 1310 Snapper we have enjoyed our stay at Ocean Lakes, more than any other place we have rented. Clean, neat, well-kept, just what we needed. Thanks for the great trips! October is the best time for the beach: quiet, restful, and cool. See you next year.

This rental was just right for our much needed vacation getaway. This was our family's first trip to the beach during the less crowded off-season, which was really nice and much cooler. Staying here and having the use of the golf cart really allowed us to relax while we were in Ocean Lakes. Thank you for renting to us. We hope to use your rental property again in the future as we plan for upcoming vacations.
