These 2 charming family-owned cottages are located on 125 feet of private, sandy beach on Torch Lake's coveted northern tip. Viewed from the north, Torch's deep blue and green waters truly rival the Caribbean in clarity and beauty. This prime location in Eastport is located just minutes from Lake Michigan, and a short drive from both Charlevoix and Traverse City.
Either the Big Cottage or the Small Cottage can accommodate your family, or rent both cottages together at a discount to include extended family and friends. The Cottages are both located on the lakefront within 25 feet of each other. The Big Cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, eat-in kitchen with bay window, living room, an enclosed summer porch for relaxing or just looking out at the lake sunset, and large deck. It sleeps 9 guests with Master Bedroom with lake view, 5 singles upstairs, and sofa double. The Big Cottage has a washer and dryer.
Now with Wi-Fi reaching both cottages - bring your own laptop.
The Small Cottage has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, a kitchen and living room area with breathtaking lake view, and a picnic deck. It sleeps 5 with bedroom, futon, and roll-away single. Our private and secluded property borders the sandy swimming beach complete with patio and bonfire area. The beach is free from rocks or plant life and very shallow making it ideal for kids. A dock, raft, rowboat, canoe and paddleboat are provided for cottage use. A public boat launch is less than 1/2 mi away on M-88, and a mooring for your boat borders the swimming area.

This is a very beautiful cottage. We stayed in the big cottage. We had a wonderful stay with great weather!!! Andy and Melissa Giddings were very wonderful to work with. We want to thank you for the opportunity of renting your beautiful family cottage where you can see there are alot of family memories there... We will come back!!! These cottages have been in my family for over 50 years, and when I was growing up I spent a lot of time here. Our cottages are truly my favorite place on Earth. The water on Torch Lake is cool, clean, deep, and incredibly beautiful. On a still day, you will see blues, indigos, greens, and teals. At night, often the wind will blow, and you will hear the waves breaking on the beach when you're falling asleep. The cottages have enough land and beach that it is peaceful and secluded. But they're also close to Lake Michigan, Traverse City, and Charlevoix. In the winter time, many of Michigan's major ski resorts - Boyne, Schuss, Shanty Creek, Nub's Nob, are within a 45 minute drive. For weeks mostly in: ...........Big Cottage....Little Cottage (July, August)...................$2200/wk.........$900/wk (10% discount for both) (June, September)................$1600/wk.........$640/wk (10% discount for both) (May, October)...................$1000/wk.........$400/wk (10% discount for both) Also note there is a $60 cleaning fee for the Big Cottage, $40 for Little. Our week is SUNDAY to SUNDAY. Check IN time is 6 pm. Check OUT time is 3 pm. 50% Deposit required for reservation. Partial weeks avail only in off season.
