Treat your family to a beautiful and scenic location, right on the peaceful waters of Lake Buchanan. The hamlet of Tow Village, Texas is literally at the end of the road. North of Tow lie ranches and state parks. Fishing is fabulous! Kayaking and motoring upriver to swim at the falls or to view wildlife provides wonderful memories. Located less than 1.5 hours from Austin, about 2.5 hours from San Antonio, and 4 hours from Dallas, Bald Eagle Cottage is nicely decorated, fully equipped and supremely comfortable for 4-6 people (best for a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults with 2-4 children). Other features: covered boat dock with electric lift for boats up to 22 feet long, boat ramp, lighted fishing pier, carport and over 100 feet of waterfront. The LCRA provides current information regarding lake conditions, levels, and weather; the Lake Buchanan-Inks Lake Chamber of Commerce covers regional attractions and activities. $200 reservation/damage deposit. 1-2 dogs allowed at $5/night/each. ***2008 SPECIALS: 8 nights for the price of 1 week.
