This was a GREAT vacation rental. The pictures depict the ammenities exactly but there was sooooooo much more. First and foremost it was extremely clean. You will need for nothing. Dave & Paul have thought of everything you could possibly require. The pool was beautiful as was the hot tub-and oh the privacy. We had a wonderful stay here over the holidays and would recommend this property to anyone & everyone. Dave & Paul -you are wonderful hosts and they could not do enough for us. Thank you for a GREAT vacation. We will definitly stay here again & again & again

My husband and I decided to take a trip to Florida to visit his family. We brought along my mom and our 5 yr. old son. We absolutely love the 2 bedroom apartment. It was convient to everything. The hospitaliy was even better! Thanks for making our vacation such a BREEZE!!!!

Perfect Weekend

My husband and I spent a lovely long weekend in the second-floor, two-bedroom apartment of Dave and Paul’s guesthouse, just behind their own house. When we do a getaway like this, we enjoy going out to sightsee and eat well. When we’re at “home,” we like to read, nap, snack, and watch TV. This apartment was perfect for all our vacation ambitions. Our immediate first impression of the apartment was that it looked just like the pictures in the online listing. Our second impression was that the apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. Plus great TVs with cable and DVD player, a computer, and ceiling fans. The weekend weather was a little cool, but we did appreciate the outside amenities as well: inside the walled garden are a beautiful pool, lush landscaping, exercise room, gas grill, comfortable patio furniture, and pool bath. There is also an off-street parking spot for each apartment, which is nice, because the streets in the neighborhood (quiet and full of lovely older bungalows) are kind of narrow. Access to downtown and the beach is really easy on the nearby through streets. Dave and Paul were our landlords, but they offered a level of hospitality we haven’t encountered previously in a vacation rental like this. When they learned we were celebrating our anniversary, a bottle of bubbly appeared in our apartment while we were out. And we also came home with a cactus that Paul had recently repotted and gave to us. We’re already thinking about when we can visit again. Sounds too good to be true? It’s not…simply wonderful.

we stayed in the 2 bedroom apt. The place was extremely clean, beautifully decorated i must say. Good taste Paul and Dave. The swimming pool was great and so was the landscape. Dave and Paul were very nice people.. Thanks alot..My kids didnt even want to leave the place.. what a beautiful place you have .

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the Florida sunshine. I stayed in the one bedroom apartment that was very clean and very comfortable, with all the amenities as described in another review. I loved reading in one of the lounge chairs under the palms. The salt water pool is beautiful and when my grandchildren came to visit for the day, we could hardly get them out of it. We also grilled hamburgers and hot dogs pool side and had a lovely lunch under the umbrellas. Dave was friendly and very helpful. The toaster-oven broke and he replaced it the same day. He also is very knowledgeable about the area and had good suggestions for places to go. It was very easy to get from the apartment to downtown St. Pete, Tampa and Clearwater. Grocery shopping is close by as are some good restaurants. My visit was delightful and I definitely will recommend it to friends and family.

A Great Vacation Break

Photos and description of the property clearly describe the amenities. We love the pool and the tropical surroundings. You read a book or lounge after a swim in the well heated salt water pool. (no nasty chlorine) Want a warmer bubble spa treatment? Its right there. We enjoy BBQ and its yours to use. Cook dinner and eat poolside. The owners are friendly and offer suggestions on dining out and local highlights. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. We walk to nearby Crescent Lake Park. A short drive to Tampa Bay and downtown St. Pete's or to the Gulf Beaches. A personal favorite is Sawgrass Park, a natural preserve with a boardwalk through the forest leading to a lake loaded with wildlife. The computer plus available wifi were well used by us to investigate outings and log email. The free long distance is another bonus. This is a great place to stay. We were lucky to have found it and have returned 3 times.

This is my third year in a row staying here and I will be returning next year as well. For me this is my secret paradise in fla. It is well equiped, clean, comfortable,and ouiet. The owners make you feel like this is your home.

We loved this place so much we have booked it for our next visit down to St Pete. Apartment is VERY nice. It was very clean, up to date and well maintained. Nous avons loué l’appartement T2 pour un mois, du 15 octobre au 13 novembre. Couple de touristes français venant des environs de Paris, c’était notre premier voyage aux Etats Unis. J’ai trouvé cette location sur internet, très intéressée par le prix raisonnable, le descriptif de l’appartement, la très bonne situation en ville et la présence d’une piscine et d’un jaccuzzi ! Ce fut une superbe surprise quand nous sommes arrivés : tout était exactement comme dans le descriptif et les photos sur internet. C’était tellement agréable d’aller nager tous les matins dans la piscine privative, de prendre des petits déjeuners sous le parasol géant près de la piscine, de boire un verre dans le jaccuzzi de nuit, d’apprécier une sieste sous les palmiers du jardin très joliment aménagé…La vie était si douce et paisible là-bas. L’appartement est très bien équipé, absolument tout ce qui est nécessaire pour une vie quotidienne était présent pour une indépendance totale, comme si nous étions à la maison. C’était exactement ce que nous recherchions pour ce voyage et nous estimons très chanceux d’être tombés sur cette location. La meilleure partie a sans doute été de rencontrer Dave et Paul (et les filles !!), nos hôtes, très amicaux, sympas, discrets mais toujours présents quand quelque chose nous manquait ou quand nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit. Ils nous ont tant donné pendant ce séjour et en ont fait un moment fantastique en Floride. Nous avons passé des moments inoubliables, et je comprends mieux maintenant pourquoi TOUS les commentaires internet sur cette location étaient si bons! Une fois de plus, merci Dave, tu sais à quel point nous avons été heureux là-bas et si tristes au moment de revenir en France, mais maintenant nous avons une seconde maison là-bas, en Floride ;) Cécile & Michaël
